Starts here in Oz 30th January so thought I'd give everyone a heads up if you're watching in real time with us.

In case anyone needs a reminder this will be the spoiler/up to date thread. Someone else can start the UK pace one.

To be down with the yoof for a minute, Harrison is so triggering for me.

He reminds me of my awful brother in law, who gaslights and manipulates my DSis then turns on her for her 'disloyalty' and plays the victim when she tells us about his behaviour.

It's awful to watch. It's horrific to live with. I want to airlift my DSis to safety.

He even looks a bit like Harrison and I want to smack his smug, smirking, nasty little face.

Bronte may well be doing this for fame, but Harrison, acting or not, is a dangerous man with dangerous behaviours and will break people.

Also, the Cam and Lyndall situation is such BULLSHIT.

What did the producers think would happen pairing anyone at all with someone who works away for months at a time? This was entirely predictable. They shouldn't have allowed him on the show. It's totally unfair.

That, more than almost anything else, shows what this show really is. It isn't about starting people on relationships. At all.

lifeissweet · 15/03/2023 12:06

Having said that, Cam seems totally defeatist about it. Almost shrugging and saying 'oh well...never mind'. I don't think his heart is in it. If it was, he'd be much more positive about at least trying. It's an excuse.

lifeissweet · 15/03/2023 12:25

On a lighter note, Ollie is hilarious and I wish we saw more of him.

Agree. I can see him getting loads of tv work after this.

Majorityofthree23 · 15/03/2023 15:00

Just caught up. Love Ollie and think he's very funny. Think Mel and Layton could work if everyone else just left them alone. They need to find a way through. Cam wants out but wants her to finish it. We got sane Alyssa tonight. And love Evelyn as the Harrison slayer....

I reckon Cam was waiting to see how much he liked his bride before committing to this amazing work he apparently had lined up. And Lyndall, with her <recoils> request for the occasional cuddle, doesn’t cut the mustard

I know I howlers when he started to laugh after Harrison talked about “Why shouldn’t I have a night with my friends”

LoveMAFS · 15/03/2023 18:37

What exactly is this fabulous job that Cam does miles away for months on end?

brittanyfairies · 15/03/2023 18:42

But hasn't Cam buggered off to Tasmania to be with Tayla, once they got together...after filming finished.

Also, after I've dropped that bombshell I read this morning that Channel Nine are taking Dan to court to make an example of him for breaking his contract and leaking spoilers about him and Sandy before their story had terminated on screen.

MAFs is pretty much the only reality TV I watch but I'm absolutely hooked on it.

EXACTLY what I was just going to post 😁

Blossomtoes · 15/03/2023 19:22

My day has been made. I hope they sue Dan’s arse off. Cam and Tayla are now together? I wonder how long he’ll put up with that?

StartupRepair · 15/03/2023 20:24

Cam is a carpenter, lives in Darwin and works in very remote areas. He could be a carpenter anywhere.

They aren’t together anymore apparently.

There is a brilliant podcast that spills all the secrets. If what she has been told is true, Brontë needs to sue the arse off of the production company. She claims she was locked in a room for days, her phone was removed and she was refused permission to leave

Ollie and Tahee(?) And Mel and Layton are the two couples that say yes at final vows and are supposedly still together

Exactly but the way he goes on about it you'd think he was doing vital work with the flying doctors or something! I think he doesn't want to be with her but doesn't have the emotional intelligence to tell her so is instead using his job to put her off.

I got to episode 25 and now just given up on it. Its not enjoyable anymore after the way Harrison just manipulated the shit out of people and trying to destroy other relationships

margueritedaisy · 16/03/2023 02:00

There are a lot of very well paying FIFO jobs in Northern Australia. Not so much what your trade is - it's turning up and staying there.
Cam in Tassie was never going to work. He would have been wearing a jumper in summer! Plus he seems to be a mummies boy.

Majorityofthree23 · 16/03/2023 07:57

Trailer for Sunday looks great! John really seems to not like Layton and maybe Harrison finally gets a grilling. Surely the end for Bronte and Harrison...surely. Will take myself off to watch as a Mother's Day treat!

LoveMAFS · 16/03/2023 09:13

Jackson from last year is dating Tayla! She'll eat him for breakfast.

here

Blossomtoes · 16/03/2023 09:20

That man really is a masochist.

brittanyfairies · 16/03/2023 11:19

I think it's more that Jackson is fame hungry (as is Tayla).

TitsInAbsentia · 16/03/2023 17:16

Is Harrison a plant? Can one person really be that much of a troll?
Bet Bronte still bloody stays....

I have been listening to the So Dramatic podcasts, so much shit going on with this lot!

LoveMAFS · 16/03/2023 19:03

Remind me what time the next episode should be ready in the UK on Sunday? I've no idea because I've watched on catch-up at all sorts of times.

Me too. Sounds as though Brontë has had an awful time. If what was on the podcast was true she's going to need therapy.
