Poor Jas. The manipulation of the neck made me feel a bit 🤢.

I found this really hard to watch. I crushed my big toe as a child when a heavy object fell on it, I was wearing open toe sandals Thankfully the surgeons managed to save my toe apparently it was touch and go but I have such a fear of anything near my feet since. This just brought back intense memories of the pain I felt when it happened. I was only 7 and honestly thought I was dying.

Those poor women, their recovery will be long but what amazing surgeons I am always in disbelief at what they can do.

I agree it was a really really really hard watch!!

Ot was pretty shocking but she was so cheerful. What a marvellous outlook she had. Probably the best possible disposition for her recovery.

I actually found the other lady's operation where he was poking around inside the ankle harder to watch. I seem to be able to look at wounds without being too affected but as soon as they start poking around it's a bit much.

Do you think the patients watch this and think fuck me no wonder it was sore? Some of the operations are brutal.

I'm still watching the previous series on iPlayer! I've just finished series two, gosh there was one episode at the children's hospital which really got to me.

My ward used to look after children who'd had scoliosis surgery. We knew it was pretty brutal as we used to send students to watch. And they said it was. I did treacle it was quite that bad though!
