Woohoo!

Anyone know when the spin off series with Kris (?) set in Devon (I think) will be televised?

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/01/2023 13:20

@DIceDaisy no. I heard meant to be doing something with him but not sure when

Excellent. Thank you Blondes

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/01/2023 14:11

It’s easy watching. And always like guessing who did it

in sometimes right @Emotionalsupportviper

Emotionalsupportviper · 04/01/2023 18:14

I am also really good at guessing who did it though it's usually on the 57th guess when every other contender has been ruled out .

365names · 04/01/2023 18:17

Can I join? Is it not Thursdays then? Bah humbug! I thought it was on Thursday evenings.

I like this programme, it's nice easy watching , don't watch them all but dip in now and again . Is it still Ralf Little ?

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/01/2023 19:33

Yes still Ralph little

I didn't like him at first but has grown on me

Tho all his allergies have seemed to have gone .....

OP posts:
Riverlee · 06/01/2023 20:03

Can’t wait. Can’t quite believe we’re on series 12 now!

i really like Ralf Little as well and glad they have mostly got rid of his allergies and neurotic tendencies.

Looking forward to the spin off UK series, but hope that it doesn’t mean the death knell for the original series.

if you want an alternative cosy mystery series, I recommend Shakespeare and Hathaway.

Sorry to butt in, realise I've not been round these parts for a while, but I need to ask a question and you lot looked like likely folks...

Wtf is a conjunction-eclipse? Wasn't it just a conjunction???

<runs away to check books>

I think they just mean a lunar occultation. But eclipse is a more common word that people kind of understand that something is passing behind something else.

KangarooKenny · 06/01/2023 21:22

I’ve liked Ralf since Two Pints of lager, and I’m also glad they got rid of his allergies.

MrsWembley · 06/01/2023 21:24

That sounds more like it! I always put eclipse with the moon or sun, and occultation is just plain witchy! But when they added conjunction, I just thought Hmm

OhBeAFineGuyKissMe · 06/01/2023 21:29

I am trying to imagine what astronomy theory is worth £1.5 million? Not even Prof Brian Cox would make that much from a book.

OhBeAFineGuyKissMe · 06/01/2023 21:36

What is the average life expectancy of a gecko?

DD and I always try to be the first to guess right at the start who's about to be bumped off just before the jolly theme music kicks in! 😂

jay55 · 06/01/2023 22:11

The current police team are pants and making it far less enjoyable.

Merrilydancing · 06/01/2023 22:12

I guessed who the murderer was but not the reason as I went down the route that he was having an affair with the phd student.

Still enjoyed it.

Elderflower14 · 06/01/2023 22:20

I love Ralf.. Many years ago I was lucky enough to get second row seats with my best friend to see Ralf and Pam Ferris in a brilliant play called Notes On Falling Leaves.. He was brilliant and got a well deserved Best Actor Olivier nomination.

Review Here....

InMySpareTime · 07/01/2023 09:09

I thought the motive was weak. Surely any disappointment over his plagiarism would be balanced out by the life they'd built together. Most people would need a better reason than that to shove someone off a cliff.

EspeciallyDetermined · 07/01/2023 09:14

May I join you? I have only watched intermittently in the past but DD has binged the whole lot in the last couple of years and its a nice thing we can watch together (mostly we have different taste in TV).

I thought it was going to be the wife because of an affair with the PhD student too. Still think it unlikely that no one would have heard anything but happy to suspend reality for some sunshine and beautiful scenery.
