William "screamed and shouted" at Harry.

felulageller · 15/12/2022 10:37

Ep5.
So that's the big accusation we've been waiting for.

Then a denial that he, Harry, denied William had bullied him and MM.

Denying that you denied it so implying it was true that William was bullying them?

Never liked William anyway. Hope he's never King.

No he said the situation was!
Being sat in a room with formerly loving family and people who thought you could trust and then the circumstances flipping and you and your wife becoming the family scapegoat. Many of them all of the same side and Harry alone. Then being shouted and screamed at. Yes it probably was pretty scary

I'm sure that the RF had previously thought they could trust Harry and that they wouldn't find themselves in a situation where he was blatantly telling them that he wanted to continue to have access to the Firm whilst simultaneously being able to exploit and monetise his relationship with his family for a fuck-ton of American dollars.

SallyWD · 15/12/2022 13:01

I really don't care about any of them (yes I know I'm bothering to reply!) but this wouldn't surprise me. I've heard stories about William's temper before.
I'm slightly irritated that everyone (particularly the media) are painting William and Kate as saints and Harry and Megan as lying manipulators. I bet they're all as bad or good as each other. I do feel like the media and the palace are trying to protect the establishment.

SliceOfCakeCupOfTea · 15/12/2022 12:43

I'm amazed people can't see a difference between being hounded by reporters and photographers, lies being spread and twisting stories, being painted as a villain all the time, and taking control of their own story. It is very different. They are revealing their side of things because if they didn't then everyone would believe the lies and they and their kids lives would be ruined.

Exactly

@skippy67 because those inconsistencies have been widely reported, misuse of imagery, doctored voice/video clips all to fit H&M narrative. I think if Netflix had made a less biased documentary I might be able to take it more seriously. I don't think there's any substance to H&Ms story. I think they could have told "their" story in a better way. This was not how to do it.

Reported by a media who want to make their narrative become the truth.

Even if only a fraction of that they say is true (and I believe significantly more is true than that) then they have been to hell and back.

Yes, racism does only work one way when a country was built on white privilege. I am so not surprised though to see a Meghan hater who trivialises racism. It basically proves most of the hate is based on racism. And people wonder why we say that.

I'm not white British BTW so no I'm not trivialising anything.Look up in dictionary word racism.

potniatheron · 15/12/2022 13:02

Gosh! Shouting! How terrifying!

And living in a cottage with a slant - it's practically destitution!

Ukrainians - think you have it bad? terrified by the bombing, shelling and lack of heat and electricity in your ruined homes? That's NOTHING!! Imagine having a bald bloke getting shirty with you! It's TERRIFYING!!!!

Nurses! Fed up of having to choose between heating and eating? Not sure how you're gonna pay the next month's rent? CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE!! Imagine how dreadful it would be to live in a free massive cottage in the grounds of a palace!! You have never known suffering!

Sittingonabench · 15/12/2022 13:02

I have got a lot of sympathy for them watching the show. It is such a shame on a family and human level what has happened. Yes they’re privileged and have things I could only dream of - but they are just people and the fear coming through appears real and not unjustified. I think the whole family has been manipulated by those controlling the institution and communications. It’s so sad.

GonnaGetGoingReturns · 15/12/2022 13:03

justgettingthroughtheday · 15/12/2022 11:36

What a surprise more Harry and Meghan bashing!!!
Seriously have any of you actually bothered watching the documentary? No I thought not!

Nobody should be subjected to the sheer level of hate that Meghan receives. Nobody deserves that!

Having seen Meghan simpering and looking a pain (how many times did she turn so that the camera was looking at her?!) then I’m not surprised at the level of hate.

Basically the way I see it, Meghan thought she’d be a princess and could change things, Americanise them. Of course that’s not going to work.

I don’t doubt she’s been treated badly and Harry is a complete arse giving her last minute notice of events re meeting the queen.

Its almost like Harry has finally decided to throw his toys out of the pram at not being king, and he’s got Meghan on side now with that.

justgettingthroughtheday · 15/12/2022 13:04

Lapland123 · 15/12/2022 12:59

Harry and Meghan are absolute nutters, narcissistic fools. I wish there was a petition to ban them from something, like the UK, or Netflix, or the bookshelves in January when that nonsense book comes out

And your basing this on?

Ah yes the British media scum!

Coxspurplepippin · 15/12/2022 13:04

justgettingthroughtheday · 15/12/2022 12:56

What's he been acting entitled to exactly?

Not having cameras on him and his wife 24hrs a day?
Not wanting his children to grow up under the spotlight?
Wanting to stand on their own feet?
Wanting to NOT be dependent on tax payer funding?
Not wanting to receive death threats?
Not wanting to live in fear of their lives and their home all the time?

What about any of those things make either Harry or Meghan entitled?

How has being on Oprah, Netflix doc, co-writing book achieved any of those things. All it's done is make it far more likely they'll be subject to press intrusion, SM comment etc.

Even if only a fraction of that they say is true (and I believe significantly more is true than that) then they have been to hell and back.

"Hell and back"?

Malala Yousafsai went to hell and back. Nelson Mandela went to hell and back. Teenage boys at the Somme went to hell and back.

Harry and Megan are two very privileged people who do not know anything about the real world, but think they do. The fact that they dare to complain without an iota of self-awareness tells you just how very pampered this pair is.

They have not been to hell and back.

purpledalmation · 15/12/2022 13:04

I can't be bothered to watch this drivel after the first 3 episodes. I'd like to know what Harry said to William, Charles and the queen to elicit this reaction? I don't believe for one minute there wasn't shouting on both sides.

Unfortunately H&M are well aware they can say whatever they like and slant the narrative however they like, and the RF can't respond.

CurlyhairedAssassin · 15/12/2022 13:05

Cornettoninja · 15/12/2022 12:53

It’s crossed over into mainstream news, people can comment on what they like. It’s probably better to watch the source but it’s not a requirement. You don’t need a degree in geopolitics to comment on the Ukraine war or environmental science to have an opinion on climate change fgs.

Makes you look like a control freak if you can’t handle idle opinions on a forum if we’re chucking around accusations.

….On topic ‘brothers arguing’ is hardly a revelation.

Let's face it, the vast majority of this country is looking for salacious, sensationalist headlines, preferably of famous people rather than actual serious news. It sells papers and makes paparazzi and journalists money. Celebrity sidebar of shite (Daily Fail), Sun, Take a Break rubbish that people buy. How many of those people buy their newspaper, or search online specifically daily happenings in Ukraine, or on the environment and take to social media to comment? Or are swayed by Tweets into believing some false nonsense re important issues like the pandemic?

You're kidding yourself if you think that most people these days with free access to too much non-serious independent journalism will form a sensible opinion of this type of thing based on reading front page news off the People or the Daily Mail. It IS really really important to examine the source where there are 2 sides of a story in existence but the public is only seeing one side, presented by the media.

justgettingthroughtheday · 15/12/2022 13:07

@potniatheron it got Meghan to the point of being suicidal. They have had vile vile things posted about them all over the media and internet. Yes they have been through hell.

Perhaps you would like to try going through that and then seeing how you feel?

Lifeomars · 15/12/2022 13:07

Fuckitydoodah · 15/12/2022 11:24

I'm struggling to give a fuck about any of them. Much more important things going on in the world. Now the Queen has passed away I'm really not sure what the point of any of them is.

Exactly this, it is mad that so many people are expending so much time and energy on people who are only where they are through an accident of birth. It clearly damages people to be part of the royal family and it infantilises the country who obessss and gossip about them. Nurses are striking for the first time ever but what is the media leading on...? Harry and Meghan who will never be poor, never be cold and never be hungry and whose kids will never go without. They should just go and be private citizens and we should abolish the monarchy or at least slim it right down and dispense with all the pantomime trimmings . We are in the third decade of the 21st century ffs! And the tourism thing, not true, way more people visit France and look what they did with their monarchy

MarshaBradyo · 15/12/2022 13:07

I keep picking up bits of this as it’s reported on and on here and I can’t imagine how they’ve strung out to 6 episodes. Not keen enough to find out though

It’s not much of a revelation, we nearly all have family moments where it gets tense.

Talk of when palace would respond, I’d just ignore it all as fluff on Netflix

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 15/12/2022 13:07

LOL so many braindead morons on this thread defending H&M and their made-up fantasy world - I'll leave that lot to stew in their cesspit of idiocy 😂

@Iwanttogo Really!! You scream and shout at relatives?

When I was a teenager, my hornmones were... Not stable.

Coxspurplepippin · 15/12/2022 13:09

IAmWomanHearMeRoar1 Harry said he/they (can't remember which) wanted peace in a speech he gave. I don't know how their current activities are meant to progress towards a life of peace.

The RF could respond I suppose, but tit for tat doesn't resolve anything, just prolongs the agony. If I was the RF I'd not say a thing.

CurlyhairedAssassin · 15/12/2022 13:10

I don’t doubt she’s been treated badly and Harry is a complete arse giving her last minute notice of events re meeting the queen.

You have no idea of the reason for this. It could be that the Palace was being awkward and not communcating with Harry properly if he tried to make arrangements to visit when his grandmother was at home. It could be that Meghan was so stressed about meeting her that he thought it might be better to just go with the flow and if she happened to be there that's when the meeting would happen, rather than any pre-arranged formal meeting.]

I find it really odd how people judge other so much without knowing the fully story.

Worstdilhesaid · 15/12/2022 13:10

So the issue was that everyone else was apparently jealous of H & M and their 'star power'. Kate had just given birth to Louis and she and William were probably very relieved to get some respite from the spotlight to focus on their young children. Why would Kate, Charles or William be jealous of H & M when they were busy with their own families and duties?

It did seem that every time another royal was doing something very important, like W & K's politically significant tour of Pakistan, some headlines of H & M would pop up to overshadow them.

Harry has apparently always been worried that his importance will decrease over time as William's children grow and take up royal duties, he would essentially become like Prince Edward. Just seems to be that H & M didn't understand their place in the family hierarchy and weren't happy to play second fiddle.

I once locked my brother in the cupboard under the stairs as I decided I didn't want to talk to him anymore - he's coming to my house for Christmas dinner this year

Is that because you've just let him out?😂

Trebo · 15/12/2022 12:14

If you watch the documentary, his point is not about the shouting.

Its also quite an interesting episode as it goes into social media hate and trolling and how people get whipped into a froth based on a headline.

There are H&M supporting individuals on Twitter who openly incite hatred towards the royal family and posting about how they should all be murdered.
