That is exactly what she said. They EXCHANGED VOWS. To many people, exchanging vows is the point. Not the paperwork.

I think the worst of it and the bulk of it was in the comment sections on articles and on social media like Twitter/Instagram. For social media comments on the official royal accounts the Palace hired someone to remove the worst of it.

However the tabloids rarely ever moderate their comment sections - it's a financial decision of two parts - it would be a full time job for at least a team of 3-4 people to manage the comments, plus they get more clicks and more ad revenue by letting people get all worked up in the comments.

We often make the situation worse though - how many times have you gone straight to the comments section to see the **show there.

Where Harry and Meghan hurt themselves is I think the read all of the comments and social media posts - I can't imagine how hurtful it is, and overwhelming but I think the only way to stay sane would be to just not read any of it.

I admit to not having watched the documentary. I tried to watch the first episode but had to turn it off 10 mins in as I could get past Meghan's atrocious acting, so much pain, while sitting on the side of the bath with her hair in a towel (IIRC?). I mean really why? Just made me cringe in embarrassment for her!
