I've worn glasses since I was 3, when measles did for my eyesight. I don't know what the world looks like without frames.

Oh and before anyone berates my parents, I am a gimmer and this was well before the advent of the measles vaccine.

I've needed glasses since I was 8 but worn contacts since I was 17 (a long time ago) my prescription is very strong so glasses are thick and heavy and the peripheral vision is all distorted.
