I think CM is great and coming across really well. He's not being fake or trying to impress anyone and I imagine how conflicted he feels with MH in there.

CW just seems so superior and judgemental - I'm not a fan at all & can't believe she was taken in by MH's tears.

MH is just such a smug git. Playing semantics about his affair - 'guidance' my arse when people were being arrested / fined for much less. He's not sorry at all, just sorry he got caught. He didn't 'fess' up to anything until after the CCTV footage came out - absolute smarmy fucking 2-faced bastard. I'm so angry that ITV have given him this platform - he's a sitting MP FFS, no way should be be allowed to be there.

I'm liking all the rest and gutted MH is now dominating everything as the cast were brill in themselves without MH being added!

My favourites are Baba, Scarlette, Owen and Jill (in that order).

I would like to see Matt Hancock win but I don’t think the team will edit it in such a way that he could win . Is it not in their control ?
I have never voted Tory and I never will but how much do people want him to suffer ? In my opinion he is brave to face everybody in such a public way . Seems like some people would like to see him crucified . No wonder people commit suicide .
I like the fact we will hear Matts own reality not the narrative we are usually being fed.

Beyond his first episode he’s not been that interesting.

Chris Moyles is bullying Owen. Can’t stand him. He’s not funny, nor is he smart. He’s making fun of another camp mate. I’m not keen on Charlene or Sue at the moment. That said, MH is taking up so much screen time, it’s difficult to get to know the others. I mean, Mike has barely said a word and we are a week in.

MH is growing on me.

I think that the entire ‘MH as the token hate figure’ idea could well backfire

I’m starting to get bored by MH dominating the episodes. At the moment I really like Jill, Scarlett and Owen.

What is CM doing to bully Owen? I think I must have missed it. I haven’t seen that much of CM to be fair. Will be interesting to see whet people make of him. I couldn’t stand him when he was on Radio 1 and thought he was a misogynistic twat. He’s much better on Radio X and I listen to him and his team every morning. Difficult to tell if he has genuinely changed or just that he knows that these days that kind of sexist behaviour would get him in deep trouble and he keeps it hidden. Was hoping we would get a glimpse in the jungle but he seems to be flying under the radar.

@Rollergirl11 he told Owen he's a world champion dancer and Owen believed him. He was the laughing about how gullible Owen was.

FWIW, I don't think he's bullying Owen at all, but can appreciate there's a fine line between banter & bullying. The reason I say this is that I think Owen will laugh hard when the truth comes out as there's no malice in what CM is doing.

Full disclosure, I'm a CM fan and have listened to him for years - he's always taken the pee out of others & himself. When he started on Radio X (back in 2016h he spoke quite a lot about his previous radio persona and how it wasn't really him and did apologise for what he'd said / done previously. He's not like that anymore on the radio but is still generally full of banter. He makes me laugh / smile every morning and has gotten me through some very dark periods, so I do appreciate my positive bias towards him.

Ant & Dec were appealing for people to vote someone else for the trials last night after the show.

I actually think Owen could win if. He’s the only one who’s genuinely nice (but dim).

I don’t think it’s bullying either as it’s the way someone makes you feel and I don’t think Owen will mind when he knows Chris is pulling his leg . Find Owen very funny especially eating that tail the other day !

I agree - wish he had more air time as he seems great! He seems such a lovely bloke too and when he asked why no one had ever told him it was jet 'lag' not jet 'lack', he was so genuine and gentle. He's fab!

Problem is Owen is the butt of the joke because of his lack of intelligence. This isn’t very nice either.

I would imagine that Owen has the teen vote he is very hot, but do teenage girls watch and vote on these type of shows these days? My teens are boys and they don’t watch this (or any other TV) so I guess girls are the same. Don’t like CM but don’t get the feeling that he is bullying Owen at all.

I keep voting for SW to do a task. I can't stand him but he's keeping a low profile under the radar right now.

My DP is convinced that MH is a plant, a government sacrifice to try to make the tories look more 'human' as their popularity is on the floor right now. A clever media move so we all forget how badly managed Covid was. The amount of people I've seen online saying they like MH based on what they've seen on I'm a celeb is starting to make me think there might be something there.

What made you seek out CM on Radio X ? When you couldn't stand him on Radio 1 and thought he was a twat..

When I was watching last night I 100% thought Owen was gutted about not doing the eating task because it's one of the best.. trials and longest for air time.
It paid off anyway as he got the voted for next trial.
Last few years or so they double up the trials mainly to stop 1 person dominating.
Still they should just get rid of one person doing them once they have done 3 in a row!!

Hopefully, we’ll get a “Matt is exempt from this task” soon - and then after a week or so it’ll change to the public vote for who stays so others will get a go at the trials.
