I just thought the fact they had to implement "field hospitals" the most scary part.

Of course I am utterly ashamed that people died alone. No matter what the situation no one should ever have died alone.

I am not watching the programme but also worked in NHS throughout Covid and do not blame MH for all the mistakes.
People seem to forget that some of those elderly care home patients were admitted to hospital WITH Covid , so some of those care homes had Covid anyway, brought in by family and staff. Also Covid is more contagious right at the start so those that had been in hospital for several days were fairly unlikely to still be contagious.
It was a horrible time all round and I would not have wanted MH's job for all the tea in China

SW I don't know. I'm 35 and he kind of looks in that age range. But at the same time looks like he's has (or had) a problem with alcohol, which he has mentioned in his stand up's numerous times. Whether he still does, I don't know. He does have that kind of puffy face that most alcoholics I've known in the part. My mum being one of them and passed away because of it

Princess Anne was smart about her children Zara and Peter not getting titles. I'm not sure they were automatically entitled to them. It could have been some weird rule like the one that meant Harry and Meghan's children weren't until they got bumped up the succession.

But anyway they were able to milk all the connections without having to do any of the boring ribbon-cutting. Zara does well out of Rolex and horsey jackets and Peter made a packet out of organising his granny's piss-poor party for the plebs in The Mall a few years ago.

Can’t stand MH. The nice guy act cracked a bit when he very sarcastically apologised to Sue for leaving a bowl of water. Really love the show usually but having that idiot doing every trial and loving the attention is ruining it. I quite like everyone else.

if we are talking about the “nice guy” act, Chris Moyles has a lot to answer for and we all know about BG’s antics.

I saw SW years ago in Brighton. He fancied himself and looked cool and trendy.

I don’t think BG or Chris Moyles are putting on acts, they seem quite natural and not bothered to bothered about impressing anyone. MH is just a creep, in my opinion.

Chris Moyles is not a nice guy. He apparently joked about taking Charlotte Church’s virginity when she turned 16, called women “dirty whores” during a radio show and has made homophobic comments. On top of that, he has been a tax avoider.

I am bored of MH already tbh. I think that he will be revelling in the attention. This is what he wants. Trying desperately to show his ‘human’ side
He obviously wants to do an Ed Balls / Michael Portillo and go down the entertainment/presenter route.
He needs the extra dosh as he probably has two homes to pay for. The ‘paltry’ MP’s wage is probably not cutting it anymore .
I think he is being paid three or four times his annual wage for appearing on the show.
Not bad for two to three weeks ‘work’

I can see him winning tbh because of just how much some people are hating him being there. If he gets that far, people will vote him to spite others.

He just has to be a good sport and suck it up...

I don't really like any of the more well known signings apart from Jill. Boy George, Matt Hancock, Mike Tindall and Chris Moyles are all as bad as each other. Sue and Charlene don't seem that nice. Surprisingly I quite like Seann and would like to see him do well but it would be good if one of the lesser known nicer ones or Jill won

Owen reminds me a little bit of when Jake Quickenden was in there, hopefully he will do as well as Jake did who came second

I think he has been somewhat vilified. I hate affairs but he isn’t alone in that behaviour. He was involved in poor decisions but he wasn’t making them alone. Somebody like Boris has far more to answer to. Rishi was part of the decisions, sat there with a green card and questionable family tax ethics plus went to the Downing Street parties but is now PM. Whereas MH career is in ruins.

I hate the Conservatives. I wouldn’t vote for them. But I do find myself liking MH.

SW alluded briefly to his drink problem when he was asked about his strictly scandal. Said he wasn't in a good place 4 years ago.

I have a 5 year old and 16 month old. It's a great age gap. 5 year old playing on his tablet yesterday and toddler DD started climbing up beside him and just flopping on his lap on top of the tablet. Like a cat when you're reading the newspaper

Yeah a few people pointed this out at the time but it seemed to get overlooked by most.

It might be nothing and she just happened to look that way, or it might imply something not good. No matter what the Celeb is like personally, they are out of their comfort zone and in most cases on the type of platform they’ve never been on before and aren’t used to. As well as being a teacher, it’s the professional’s place to look out for them during the experience, not … …. ..
