I Googled him to emphatically tell you you were wrong about his age and he's actually mid 50s 😱

Born: 22 February 1974 (age 48 years), Leeds

Hmm

Meltinthemiddle · 09/11/2022 22:28

To be honest I wish we could send the whole of the tory party to Australia and punish the lot of them! If he's taken leave to do this then that's different I guess. It will be interesting anyway, he's not solely to blame for lockdown. He's always come across as a bit of a numpty to me.

Hmmph · 09/11/2022 22:29

workiskillingme · 09/11/2022 22:16

Absolute hypocrite
So sorry about your experience with your mum but I'm sure the bloke you abused doesn't think you should be on telly either

This.

Also - A liar and cheat who made wrong decisions Vs an actual physical abuser. I know which one I think is worse but it seems to be the opposite to everyone else.

@Aquarius1234

Applications are open for Big Brother. You've been waiting for the comeback no?

Ah right yeh. Not on till next Autumn though :(

SavingsThreads · 09/11/2022 22:30

The only lie is the champion dancer, all the rest is true and it seemed funny again tonight.

Oh, fair! I didn't realise the acting/musical thing was true, but you're right it is.

Aquarius1234 · 09/11/2022 22:30

I personally think none of them should be getting more than 200k max

Benjispruce4 · 09/11/2022 22:31

I don’t think MH should be there. I’m glad Charlene asked the questions she did. He’s not a celeb, his job is not to publicise himself, it’s to serve his constituents.
I did find Sean funny though.

workiskillingme · 09/11/2022 22:31

MH although I cannot deny is an abhorrent human being did not consciously torture and degrade one person
Boy George did. Drugs or no drugs take some ownership just because you sang some songs and wear some quirky hats does not make you any nicer

XanaduKira · 09/11/2022 22:31

@Aquarius1234 CM was definitely born in Feb 1974 as he's been celebrating his age and birthdays on the radio for 20 years, so unless he started ageing himself down a long long time ago, that's his real age. I remember as he's 2 year older than me!

TruestRepairman · 09/11/2022 22:32

fabulouslyglamouroussquirrel · 09/11/2022 22:28

I could have written this word for word!

Yeah, same. A lot of sanctimony going around.

On another note, I wish people in camp would just say if they want to cook or whatever rather than mutter in corners and then accuse Charlene of being controlling. She's just trying to be useful. I'd be glad of someone cooking me a nice dinner tbh!

workiskillingme · 09/11/2022 22:32

Sorry but I quite fancy Chris Moyles
Bite me

not had the chance to read the full thread yet, but as I've watched this latest episode it's become apparent to me that far from the Tories chastising Matt Hancock for doing this show off his own back, I think he's been sent in there by a Conservative PR team to try and claw back some votes from us plebs. People who were Labour voters most of their lives who gave the Tories a chance the last couple of times have woken up to the mess they've left the country in, and been disgusted by their lies and conduct and the Tories are very worried about losing so many votes next election. He's been put in there to try to present the Tories as having a human, cuddly, likeable side. In exactly the same way that Boris managed to win Labour voters with his hapless buffoon act when he first got elected.

It's all a load of bullshit. I don't believe a word that comes out of MH's mouth.

Not watching but swung by here to see what's going on. I thought this too. I think they are dumping him in there to try and win the public round (I think he will, because he will get lots of trials and people will eventually feel sorry for him and think he's a good sport). People will be stupid enough to fall for it.

Personally, I don't think his appearance has anything to do with political decisions, so I will still be judging the Tories as normal. I'm not fooled.

Aquarius1234 · 09/11/2022 22:33

So he is 48 then. Just seems older. Like people have said.

rockingbird · 09/11/2022 22:34

Emilyjayne9421 · 09/11/2022 22:22

This might not be a popular opinion but -

I don’t think that the others have the right to decide who should and shouldn’t be there. I don’t like Charlene trying to analyse why he’s there - why are any of them there?
I’ve really enjoyed tonight personally, I haven’t laughed that much in a long time! I’m willing to give anyone a chance.

This..

NeverOneBiscuit · 09/11/2022 22:34

For me, like others have said, it’s not about lockdowns with Hancock. It’s his involvement in the VIP lane for PPE contracts, pretending he/they didn’t know symptomless people could spread the virus. And following on from that the sending of positive people back into care homes. Plus of course breaking his/ their own rules with his adulterous affair.

Of course there’s a lot of hindsight, but he’s been proven to have knowingly lied about several key points at the time. Following this, not one bit of contrition or genuine regret.

workiskillingme · 09/11/2022 22:35

I think losing a significant amount of weight tends to age people particularly men.

Heartstopper · 09/11/2022 22:36

If Boy George flounce from the jungle because of Matt Hancock's presence, that will be one small positive anyway. The way he already has the other camp mates pandering to his every whim is utterly nauseating.

Aww but what about his totally genuine crying when the first covid vaccines were given Grin

MrsLargeEmbodied · 09/11/2022 22:37

i agree, they all chose to go in!

I agree
He's a fucking mediocre at best artist with a very chequered past- who the fuck does he think he is judging everyone else?

Benjispruce4 · 09/11/2022 22:37

Lockdown was necessary.
Proclaiming to put a ‘protective ring’ around the elderly whilst simultaneously discharging them from hospital back to care homes without isolation and testing was unforgivable and that decision cost many lives.
Hard to forget and have a nice chat over the camp fire.

Honeyroar · 09/11/2022 22:37

For me, he’s always paled into nothing compared to BJ when it came to arrogance and lies. I never understood why he got so much vitriol and Bojo sailed on.

Gutting for ITV I would think. He was also paid 500k

Honeyroar · 09/11/2022 22:39

I think BoyG will end up doing some trials soon if he doesn’t stop whining.

JenniferBooth · 09/11/2022 22:39

"And following on from that the sending of positive people back into care homes"

While telling the rest of us to obey the rules and the lockdowns so we didnt kill granny So it DOES tie into the lockdowns
