Was all a bit cringy eh?

I agree with Chris, so insincere

But I dont want to watch 3 weeks of the mh show

Me neither. Why the hell should he have more air time. He had plenty in 2020/21 spewing lies.
How he has the bloody audacity to even think it will be accepted and we will all move on.
What exactly is he hoping from this??? To see him warts n all. I don't give a shit about the real MH why the hell should I??

Jenasaurus · 11/11/2022 22:22

Maybe the campmates know he will be selected to do all the tasks so want to encourage him to win the stars, I dont know, it must be a surreal experience in there. dependent on each other to get food etc.

Pompomsfantastix · 11/11/2022 22:23

I’d love to know what his ‘reasons’ cited for ‘decisions made’ re care homes would be. Didn’t Help (drama with Stephen Graham and Jodie Comer) state that UK nhs trusts got 80% of their required PPE while care homes got 10%? And 40% of all covid deaths were from care homes.
(While nursing home carers earn on average something like £8.40 an hour.)

Soon it'll go to the celebrities choosing each other. Think it's the first week its chosen by the public.

I wonder if that's why he agreed to it?

Go in late, know you'll get voted for every trial for 5 days and then you'll not have to do anymore, voted out first

Benjispruce4 · 11/11/2022 22:26

Aha ! He’s flogging a book! Wanting to show his real self, my arse!

OMG Hancock has just gaslighted again by saying it was just guidance

I know, tell that to the two women who met, having travelled in separate cars and each brought a cup of coffee from home to go for a socially distanced walk. Whilst walking, they were arrested, taken separately to the local Police station and later issued with fines!

The care homes were hung out to dry. The NHS is now buggered.
Social care. What social care????

Butwhybecause · 11/11/2022 22:30

Jill asking MH if the bushtucker trials are a rehearsal for his real trial!!

I love Jill.

GrandTheftWalrus · 11/11/2022 22:31

On the 20th May 2020 when they were having a party I got told my baby died. I then had to go through all treatment on my own. Was scanned and told yes it died, put into a room on my own and told to pick my options by myself.

Also in Scotland they decided to stop the d&c option so I had to have tablets which kicked in when I was at work at the temp hospital set up for covid.

But it was a moving situation and those figures can only be provided in longterm hindsight. IIRC there were issues of distribution too even when PPE was obtained as all delivery workforces were reduced in output.

UK lead the way with its vaccination programme and secured larger numbers of vaccines by making a decision that was right. Yet it could have backfired.

MH didn't work alone, he is a scapegoat bevause he became well known through TV speeches and people are falling for it without even being able to name others involved.

Hancock dominating the show but in the worst possible way. He genuinely thinks he can say sorry and we'll forget almost 200,000 people were killed on his watch while he shagged his girlfriend.

I work in a care home, definitely not happy with lots that went on but covid killed them, maybe it could have been lower with different decisions or maybe it could have been higher. We will never know but it definitely isn't all down to him.

That's awful

Aquarius1234 · 11/11/2022 22:35

When people stick up for MH saying stuff like so one person is responsible for all that happened bla bla bla.
Erm maybe not but we the public can still not like him at all from what we have seen and want him to suffer in the jungle.
He is a posh arrogant twit that probably hasn't ever written an email.
I hate how the certain people sticking up for him don't understand why others don't like him.
I guess they must vote tory and voted leave.

sashagabadon · 11/11/2022 22:36

blame the virus not people trying to do their best to make decisions in an unprecedented situation under unprecedented pressure. No one person is responsible. And anyone in charge would have made mistakes maybe the same mistakes and maybe different ones.
I worked throughout pandemic in a hospital and it was full of people doing their best with the knowledge they had at the time. Easy to sit at home and criticise.

Aquarius1234 · 11/11/2022 22:37

Bit like those that loved Boris. Saying he's hilarious. Erm no he's not.

Thedogscollar · 11/11/2022 22:37

As for his book, telling it warts n all. Ffs really he thinks we are interested in a book that will deflect all blame from him because that's exactly what it will be.

This is so disrespectful to the dead and their families but hey so long as he can get it off his chest and coin it in. There are no words to describe how bloody awful this man is.

Topgub · 11/11/2022 22:38

I dont particularly blame mh for the shit show that was the pandemic response (more than I blame any of the tories)

But he still gives me the shudder

Benjispruce4 · 11/11/2022 22:39

Yeah but he fell in love so that’s alright then innit? 🙄

Aquarius1234 · 11/11/2022 22:41

The problem is its too easy in the jungle and has been for years. There's no tension in the environment. It's just all jokey and small bits of bitching.

EddieHowesBlackandWhiteArmy · 11/11/2022 22:43

I am really liking Chris. I understand completely why he didn’t keep going after Matt. The rest of the camp seemed to be taken in by his self serving bullshit and he would have looked like a bully if he’d kept on at him and pushed for more answers when the rest were throwing their arms around him and wiping away his crocodile tears.

However, he wasn’t happy, and I don’t blame him for wanting to talk that through with someone else. They’re in a difficult situation and I know I would struggle with it. Because they have a unique opportunity to ask the questions that they will have had swirling through their head in the last two years but in this situation it’s almost unfair to ask him to carry the can for the wider government just because he is the only one there. Having said that, he is there, he was party to it all and he doesn’t appear to actually be that remorseful for some of those big shitty decisions that he will have had a very big say in. I would be so conflicted as well.

I am so sorry you had to go through the heartbreak of losing your baby. As a midwife working throughout the pandemic it was utterly horrendous.
To see young healthy women being admitted to ITU having their babies birthed early by caesaeran section in order to save their mothers life. Utterly heartbreaking 💔

JaneJeffer · 11/11/2022 22:47

Well said @EddieHowesBlackandWhiteArmy

I'm not in the UK so to me he's just another Tory twit but I can see from people's stories how his actions affected them badly. He comes across very insincere and was smirking when Sue hugged him.

I agree. I'd like Matt the mole to be sent back to Mole HQ and the whole of the rest of the cast replaced by a mix of NHS staff care home staff and relatives of the elderly that were sent back to care homes to die.
I guarantee there would be no hugging of the MH.

PickledRat · 11/11/2022 22:52

MH really is an arsehole. He is ruining the show for me with his fake persona and bullshit.

Biggest shock is that MT is 44 and SW is 36!? Really? It’s not as if either of them have had a hard life so I’m thinking it is their ‘celebrity’ age.
