If I was Matt I'd be quite flummoxed at why I'd scored so much lower than Jayde or Richie. I do hope he's not in the dance off, to give him a bit of a boost. The judges were over harsh, yet for nearly everyone else they were over generous.

I feel sorry for Matt (and Nadiya), but I also think he's completely doomed.

I thought Tony was adorable in front of the judges, holding his jacket shut to preserve his modesty, when seconds earlier he had been stood there in all his glory 😊

I very much hope that Tony avoids the dance off.

Not watched Strictly tonight, but have just got back from watching ‘Strictly Ballroom -The Musical’, based on the film. Really enjoyed it. Considering kFG is a dancer, he has a surprisingly good voice. Maisie was excellent, especially her acting skills. At times, we felt the dancing was restricted due to the size of the stage. The best dance was a Paso, done by a Spanish dancer. Really enjoyable evening.

I've just watched Ritchie's dance again, they actually barely danced because they spent so long wiggling around the judges. I'm disappointed as they're much better than that.

I don't think Richie has been particularly good in previous weeks, either.

I missed all the last thread so haven’t seen the MN judgement but I’m not ashamed to admit all my votes went to Tony tonight. Richie inexplicably over marked for so little content, Jayde having to drag herself off the floor practically going unremarked and Matt’s trousers 😐 it was a weird one! Tyler way out in front for me.

I don’t think they should allow full costumes really (like Ritchie/Gio) - for one thing, you can’t really see the dancing to judge it, and for another, they never really work IMO.
I have a big soft spot for Hamza - I think he’ll be safe because I suspect he has a pretty big fan base through his TV shows (especially kids), so fingers crossed.
Tony really made me laugh, and he looks like he’s having fun and throwing himself into it, do I hope he stays too.
Matt I find really uncomfortable to watch. I know he’s not a great dancer, but it’s not that, it’s that he just doesn’t look like he’s enjoying it at all. He’s an odd one. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in the dance-off, but he might get some sympathy votes as he’s clearly struggling.
I think James might also be in the dance-off, or possibly Ellie T?

I need to placemark so I'll just say that at one point in her dance Kym Marsh was a dead ringer for Carol Vorderman.

It's a random one but I really liked Ellie T's palm print leggings in the rehearsal video. Anyone know how best to find out where they might be from?

Just hopping on here to get this on my Threads I’m On and to say that Tony’s dance was much less of a car crash than I feared. Katya is some kind of a mad genius sometimes!

Loved Tyler - I’m a sucker for a Charleston and that one ticked all the boxes.
