I don’t watch comic relief but finally got around to googling the Ghosts sketch.
Loved it, I’m really looking forward to the next season of Ghosts.

I suppose it's best to go out when it's still on a high.

I'm gutted.
But agree it would be worse if it kept going but gradually slipped in quality. It's such an ensemble piece that it must be a nightmare to co-ordinate the cast. Losing Mary will inevitably change the balance so further changes would be even more unsettling.
We'll just have to savour the last series.

This is bitter sweet. I will be sad to see it go but I also think it’s the right decision. I didn’t quite enjoy the last season as much, and I miss Mary. I really really hope Captain comes out!!

I'm sad it's finishing, but also feel it's the perfect time to do so. They can tell the Captain and Kitty's stories, and tie up what Alison and Mike are going to do in the longer term. It would be terrible to go on past it's best. I think it'll finish with the Captain about to reveal his name - we'll never know!!

I hope they don't sell. The idea of the ghosts all going back to their pre-Alison existence sounds really boring for them. No music they like , war programmes, Friends etc!!
