Look who we saw today at Comic Con!!!

We got to watch a preview of their next creation We Are Not Alone about aliens. Such lovely blokes, really patient spending time chatting with all the fans, loads of people dressed up as them too!

DD was thrilled.

Yes, that’s right - Mike Wozniak and Joe Thomas. The HH guys have smaller parts in this one.

I really enjoyed it - apparently it’s 90 mins and we got to watch the first 25. It had some really funny moments - I guess like all things, once you get to know the characters it will get better and better. Definitely a fun and interesting premise and some real similarities with Ghosts in the kind of outsiders’ view of our modern lives.

We shall watch out for that @TheShoeLady

I reswatched all of Extras last week and there's a young Ben Willibond in one episode, took me a while to place him.

Pat is also in one of those school series, Teachers, or Bad Education something.

Kept forgetting to watch it! I saw the first episode.

Anyway I recently got the 3 DVDs from Amazon and had a happy time watching it all. Hilarious! Especially when Alison finds more ghosts in the basement!

Apparently the American version of Ghosts will be on BBC3 and iplayer from Sunday.

Wow, very soon. I've been trying to decide whether to watch it when it appears. I'm extremely curious about it but weirdly apprehensive.

It sounds ridiculous but I'm worried that because it seems so different in some ways and so similar in others, it'll somehow intrude upon and damage the lovely little safe BBC Ghosts bubble in my head 😕

DD will be curious too though, so I'm sure we will end up watching.

Scifi comedy. Written by Ben and Larry who cameo as aliens.

Just watching the first episode of the US version on iplayer and they've given away how their Robin and Captain characters died.

See I would ask how but I don't think it's necessarily going to be the same with our ghosts. I'm not sure they've even decided yet with the captain. I thought Robin was the bear!

About to watch Ghosts US on iplayer now. What do we all think?

Dd and I watched the first 3 US eps this afternoon. We are undecided. Like the Captain and Julian equivalents plus the Native American and Thorfinn. Didn't like the actual couple much or the plague/cholera ghosts.

Chuckled like a pair of loons at the sucked off jokes and the Captain riding his men hard. We are not sophisticated.....

I've watched a bit more and I'm not convinced. My 13 and 16 year olds who are avid watchers of the UK version announced it was "cringe" and "all wrong" and walked out.
