Currently rewatching Mindhunter. Absolutely brilliant show and I could watch it again and again
I can't believe it's been cancelled and we won't see a series 3 ☹️ apparently it costs too much to make, although I really can't see it costs that much especially with shows like stranger things which must cost millions!

What other series are you gutted have been cancelled?

Neighbours was my guilty pleasure, I’m gutted it’s gone. Been watching it for over 30 years.

Was daredevil but he is coming back (yeaaaaa).
And most shows netflix puts on and cancels after 1 or 2 seasons without a conclusion.

I love The Last Post, was so sad not to have a 2nd series.

Rescue Me - on Sunday evenings with Sally Phillips. I loved it!

I’m still sore that the BBC chose not to give us another series of ‘Goodnight Sweetheart’ after the follow-up a few years ago. There was still so much more story to tell. But they went with the Porridge remake because it’s cheaper, apparently.

I loved this if it’s the BBC show you refer to! I enjoyed the bit at the end in the creepy dark place and it’s the first thing I think of when I see a similar place now. Off to look on YouTube…

I agree with Mindhunter. Such a great show, I really don't understand why it's been cancelled

I noticed on Threads I’m on recently, a thread I started three years ago about my lust for Tench from Mindhunter got randomly resurrected and it’s really made me want to watch it again.

My lusting aside, there was so much more to explore with Mindhunters, it had only really just got going. All those real life cases.

Tench though, sigh…

I'm glad it's not just me saying "Alcatraz". Was gutted it was cancelled as I thought it was brilliant.

God yes, beautiful is the only word for Jordan Catelano..... Glad to see Im not the only My So-Called Life fan still holding a grudge over its cancellation!
I listen to that Juliana Hatfield song from the Angels episode occasionally, can still remember the chills of the 'how did you die?' moment

I agree about Mindhunter. There are so many directions they could have taken the show in.
Absolutely distraught there'll be no more Motherland as well.

There was a similar ‘what would you do’ kind of show called ‘the control room’ that there was a few episodes of and it was fantastic. I think that was BBC.

it was dragons den kind of contestants in a cobra type set up given a scenario to manage. They had an infectious disease, rouge airplane not communicating and riots made up of young people angry at the unfair distribution of government funds to the elderly. It was really good, I think there are still a couple of episodes knocking around YouTube.

Totally agree about Mindhunter. An amazing series.

also agree about Spooks - yes, a bit samey but so watchable and thought characters were great. Will always love Ros - Hermione Norris character. Probably one of best female characters created on UK Tv.

completely ruined it for DP when I appropriated S Club 7’s theme song to sing ‘spooks club’ whenever it was on
