.... starts this month on BBC 2 and Solange is not judging - whilst she is probably great at jewellery I didn't like her as a judge ..... instead partnering Shaun is Dinny Hall - no idea what she will be like as a judge but I'm excited 😊

I enjoyed this last year, but a change of judge is probably a good thing.

That’s interesting. I enjoyed series 1, although it did have a few issues. Is it the same presenter? As I thought she was one of the main issues, if I’m honest.
Solange was quite downbeat but I actually thought she improved as the series went on.

Well, it didn't really float my boat tbh, though I'm not sure why as I too love a craft/creative type show usually.
As PP says, I feel Katherine Ryan is not the right presenter for this sort of programme.
She seems to lack warmth/empathy with the contestants.
Sorry that Steve went as his ideas were unusual and interesting but he left them no choice, sadly, given his execution.

Really liked Steve too, the brief was for a chunky necklace of her name which I didn't feel the winning one was.

I was like that last year and ended up watching glassblowing competitions on Netflix!
