.... starts this month on BBC 2 and Solange is not judging - whilst she is probably great at jewellery I didn't like her as a judge ..... instead partnering Shaun is Dinny Hall - no idea what she will be like as a judge but I'm excited 😊

Glad I'm not the only non fan of Katherine.
I've only seen her on this show and I know she's popular but I don't find her funny - It's too rehearsed. Doesn't feel spontaneous.

Her loose wrist innuendo to Bonny was unnecessary and uncomfortable, seems a bit of a mean girl.

What happens to the items they have made ?

I agree. My 8 year old is a wee creative so I let her stay up a bit later to watch this with me but there were a couple of cringe moments. I'm sure it went over head.

I wasn’t smitten this week.

I don’t think the comment was mean girl. It was, however, inappropriate.

I don’t like the ever increasing need for innuendos in ‘skill’ programmes. It just isn’t necessary.

I’m no Mrs Whitehouse but I am totally fed up of it as everyone and his maw is doing it.

I watched the first one of this season. I'm doing a silversmithing course so also interested in the techniques and designs. I'm going to give the folded silver design a go that we saw last week.

Also not keen on KR as presenter. Yet to get to grips with competitor names.

Just watching episode two. (I think) laughing at the hair pin for the paediatric nurse. Like you could really wear one for work. It'll get lost/ pulled out/ chewed etc 😂😂

Every nurse I know who wears a bun sticks their pens in it. They are lovely but not for work!

Do the contestants get to keep their pieces ?

I don't know for sure but on The Great British Sewing Bee the clothes they've made are returned to the contestants after filming, as All That Glitters is also BBC I presume the same thing happens.

I’m a big Katherine Ryan fan but this seems an odd show for her. I think the two judges would have been enough on their own. Producers need to believe that we like slow tv - it doesn’t need to be funny

Please don't shoot me, but I've never been so pleased to see a contestant go as I was this week . For some reason I couldn't bear to watch Bonnie any longer.

She was very annoying.

I've not watched this week's yet - will have to watch on catch up.

I've really enjoyed this series and there's been some lovely pieces. The final is a 2 horse race. It'll be interesting to watch.

I'm really loving this series. Dinny Hall is so lovely, and although KR grates a bit, she and Sean are very funny together.
I really love Jack. His personality just shines through.

I thought the necklace the customer chose was far and away the best for the brief - the other necklaces might have been brilliant in their ways, but totally missed the mark for me.
