It's called Celebrity Masterchef. Faye Winter is someone who is not a celebrity. She was on a telly competition that she didn't even win. By that token you might as well have the losing contestants on a head to head of Pointless on this show.

I'm imagining Nancy being a long-lost Italian Chuckle and a kids' tv show about her and Paul opening a leopard-print champagne and warm coleslaw food van near St. Mark's Square.

Mushroom stroganoff takes me back to 1990 when it was generally the only veggie option on a menu (unless there was a vegetable lasagne instead).

I'm allergic to peanuts and seeds, avoid shellfish just in case and a few weeks ago had a reaction to a banana for the first time so that was strange, but doc said it could have been something on the skin

You could make an aubergine look like gold and I wouldn't eat it

It takes you through the ages stroganoff, to mushroom risotto to cauli steak. They've just missed out goats cheese tart.

DD makes that aubergine thing. Not for us, but now she’s veggie she makes shite like that.
I was amazed also ho proficient they became overnight. Creme pat? Right.

I'm allergic to mushrooms.. Eating them brings me out in hives and makes my throat close up and face and fingers swell up. Its so bizarre.

Mushrooms were the only thing I didn't have to eat growing up (my parents were of the "You'll eat what's on your plate and be thankful for it" type). I used to give them to my Dad if they were in lasagne or whatever, and I found out when I was 28 that he doesn't like mushrooms either, but he'd eat them for me.

Cauliflower is NOT a steak.
