Jane it was meant to be earlier- but it was delayed a few weeks- to basically just before the US Open starts. All this 'New Kyrgios' stuff is probably quite a bit to do with it, imo.

But I'm a bit cynical like that.

So to repeat: well done Gael, it was a close match,

Brilliant game for Dan. Andrey was so frustrated.

I’m not getting much chance to watch much tennis at the moment for various reasons but I did manage to watch Gauff beat Rybakina. I really want to see Gauff do well after her run in the French Open.

I missed the end of the Daniil match, my Prime was going on and off so I gave up.
The commentators were driving me nuts. I am not happy Kyrgios won- though that was what they were wanting all the way through

I've had chance to look at more of the scores - I see that Jack Draper beat Stef. Thats a great win for him.
I really hope there is someone left who can stop Dick, because this current Kyrgios resurgence is irritating me. He plays De Minaur next, who he will have more repsect for, as a fellow Aussie, at least.

Marin has been quietly going through- plays Tommy Paul next though.
