I thought it was always a short window immediately after the programme finished.

They can't ignore the public vote (too many scandals about that on other programmes) but they can decide whether to go with the public vote (if that suits) or ask Islanders to decide between bottom few (hoping they'll get an outcome they prefer)

And of course they set it up in the first place, deciding whether its most/least liked/compatible individual/couple

You're right, if the public vote gives desired result they'll be off, but if the bottom 2 or 3 couples is a bit either way they'll hand it to the islanders.

Not understanding the love for Antigoni at all. To be pissed off because because two girls coupled up with two guys she isn’t actually involved with? Then bitch about it and create a divide with the girls.

Jay isn’t interested in her at all, he just needs to be able to speak to another adult until he can get to Casa Amor. I’m not sure why she can’t see that.

God that episode was painful to watch, I feel sorry for danica and hope someone comes in for her but have a feeling she will be voted off now, I don’t like Antigoni after that she was very rude. Creating a drama over nothing she never showed any interest in jay until the recoupling

Ugh at the wording of the vote - vote for the couple you think are most compatible, and the ones with the fewest votes are at risk of being dumped.
i.e. they have a few options of what happens next depending on the outcome of the public vote. Either they dump the couple with the fewest votes; they pass the decision to the islanders; or if neither is going to go the way the producers hope, they'll have some bizarre contrived game that means the results of the vote weren't worth a thing.
Or they'll just panic and say it's Opposites Day, so we were voting for who we wanted to leave rather than stay 😅

Sorry , but I really can’t stand Jacques. His horrible behaviour is rubbing off on pick me Paige who was rude to Indiyah. It is a shame because Paige was one of my favourites before she hooked up with Jacques.
Indiyah seems to be a genuinely lovely young lady . Keeps away from all the drama
