Antigoni is lush but just not the love island type. She's just too mature and worldly, and seems to be taking it with a pinch of salt.

I don’t see how Luca can take his opinion on being in a relationship with Gemma that seriously given she was SIXTEEN when they were together. Even if we are to believe she could be a ‘nightmare’ how many 16-year-old girls know how to maturely behave in an adult relationship. It’s just all a bit wrong tbh.

She was 17. Given her life was one of travelling for international competitions and hob knobbing with the rich and famous - she isn't really your typical 17 year old in many ways. And Jacques seems immature for his age and likely has less life experience than she does. Given his background, I am sure he was drawn to her dad / lifestyle with some stars in his eyes. Since he was away training and competing with a rugby team and she was away on international dressage tournaments, I don't know how much time they actually spent together. They apparently dated 8 months from summer 2020 to early 2021.

When I was 17 / 18, getting an older boyfriend for the summer was all the rage and pretty much everyone dated guys 2-4 years older than then.

I suppose I get that. It’s more the criticising of the behaviour of a 16/17-year-old girl in a relationship- i think totally normal not to know how to behave or be a bit jealous/insecure.

DH is addicted to Love Island as much as I am. But last night he was visiting his parents (76 and 81) and sensibly opted not to watch it with them. Can you imagine if he'd sat down and said "let's watch this programme I'm following" and their first ever glimpse of LI was last night's episode? 😂😂.

Incidentally they got married when MIL was 16 and FIL was 21. They had dh when MIL had just turned 18. It was a different world back then in the early 60s for working class kids living out in the sticks.

I completely agree with this. Gemma knows her own mind & her own worth and is confident enough to call people out on their bullshit. She's actually becoming my favourite! I'd love for her head to get properly turned in Casa Amor!

I really do t see the point of Danica picking Andrew.
He will sleep on the pull out bed like Luca did. Danica will sleep alone on the bed.

I reckon ES will get to pick when there's only Davide, Jay and Charlie left, it's the only tiny hint of jeopardy available for these picks unless Paige pulls a blinder on Jacques and picks Jay (which would lead to Jacques probably going on a rampage).

Although I'd quite like Danica to get a pick before Tasha and pick Andrew, I just can't see that happening. Actually Tasha might quite like that if she thinks Casa Amor is on the horizon!

She'll make herself really unpopular with the girls too. It was different last time as she had to make a stab in the dark. Better to go with Charlie or Jay and bide her time and hopefully someone keen will come in.

Have i missed something? Jay was into Paige, thought he wasnt that keen on ES anymore, is she wishful thinking again.
