I’m sure there is going to be a public vote for favourite couple after tonight’s pairing. Then they will probably get the islanders to decide which two go. Girls choose a boy and vice versus.

Hopefully you are right @marmiteadict , I don't feel we have had anywhere near enough voting opportunities so far! Either that or we are just recoupling and then opening the doors to Casa Amor.

Anyway, I agree with everyone who thinks Jacques is dangerous and unpleasant, Tasha is not the brightest and behaving like a toddler, Andrew is decent, Ekin-Su and Davide do not need to re-kindle their romance! please!

I have to say if I HAD to pick one, I'd say Davide was the sexiest. His immense confidence served him well there.
Otherwise, the boys were an a visual assualt.

Girls were hot. Danica 100% nailed it.

I thought Jacques conversation with Luca about Gemma was very revealing. He said he couldn't be himself around Gemma. What he really meant is when he behaved like a prick (which is often) she would call him out on it and he didn't like that. He is looking for someone much more submissive who won't challenge him when he is being a dick.

Paige is a people pleaser and doesn't want to upset anyone. Jacques spotted this a mile off.

I think Gemma is so mature for 19. I can't see her staying with Luca. She likes him but is very quickly losing respect for him - I think she finds the needy, insecure behaviour unattractive.

I think her issue is that most men her own age are far too immature.

Please don't tell me the whole of tonight's episode, is them just talking about who they will choose WTF how is that remotely gripping tv.

I’m sure I saw it’s running for 8 weeks this year so longer than usual so casa amor might be later …. I think that’s why we’re seeing more of these types of recouplings

Based on pictures and what not it seems that Jacques grew up in a much lower class, poorer type home than many of this cast who clearly have wealth and class status. He is definitely rougher around the edges and has an emotional immaturity to him and not nearly the same vocabulary or ability to articulate himself as many of the others. I am sure he feels pretty insecure in the villa. His looks and rugby have given him an ego but it is an ego shell and he is pretty insecure around a crowd that has looks, money, connections and an upbringing and class he has never had. He is definitely at a disadvantage.

Tasha also has that insecurity and emotional immaturity as well. She expresses it differently than Jacques but they seem similar in that way. Both of them are what? 23? Limited life experience so far.

Gemma is younger age wise but has the class and education that comes with being wealthy, child of a celebrity, international sport competitor etc. Her world has been big and full of experiences, opportunities, and role modeling. She has had a completely different upbringing and it shows. Luca's family also has money and likely class and upbringing wise is a good fit for her.

Paige - not sure on her.

Antigoni just seems too mature and normal for this cast. I guess her and Jay and Charlie and Davide and Ekin are all around the same age - but Ekin and Davide are really playing the game and have the advantage of early entires and more time. It is really hard for those that come later to get right into it unless they happened to hit it off with other bombshells.

He has an ego but he is also vulnerable. You saw his hurt when Ekin was sneaking around kissing Jay and how he protects himself from hurt. He seems like he has a sensitive soul inside his '"perfect body"

You would think that with so many hours of film, they could create better episodes than rehashing and reshowing the same scenes and spending forever on nothing.

It's 8 weeks long same as usual for recent series.
Surprised ITV 2 didn't want to make it 9 or 10 giving the crazy high ratings.
But I fear it wouldn't help the series build any momentum, its just round in circles each week.

I absolutely love Antigone's husky voice. I have a Greek Cypriot friend who sounds almost identical. I want her to stay in somehow.

I also like Danica more than some of the original girls.

I would turn gay for Antigoni TBH.

And Danica is a poppet. She reminds me of a girl I used to see out clubbing all the time. Amazing dancer too, and just really good energy.
