But it's not about knowing what you know. Casa Amor is literally written on the wall every single year, yet everyone still spells it the French or Italian way. Even though they're in Spain.

Oh I forgot something Andrew said that made me laugh about him not going on a date with anyone else err yeh because no one is interested!!
literally no one that has come in has fancied him and I will be surprised if anyone does and that will be because they see him as an easy target I’m sure.

What do you think about my idea for Casa Amor.

So every year, the group goes in and the new bombshells are there in their bikinis looking all glam. It just doesn’t work though!
There’s usually very little drama, because the boys know the girls are desperate to get into the villa. The boys never seem interested because the girls appear too eager.

so………..

They go in and they are paired up with a girl. That their first meeting is on a ‘date’…..you know cycling through a field of butterflies etc. The girls are in beautiful summer dresses and the boys have to put in a bit of effort and get dressed up.
I feel the boys would then take the time to get to know the girls, instead of the wolf pack mentality they usually go in with.
Same with the girls, they are always closed off and form a girl squad to repel. Again, pair them up with a gorgeous guy. Who is suited and booted and go off on a lovely date.

Also feel they need to put in an incentive to bring back a new girl/boy- so only a few will risk staying with the original partner (the ones that do really like). Can’t think of what though…..any suggestions???

Casa Amor never works for me as it doesn't last long and is only a means to an end.
Groups being split never works until everyone is back again.

Really not taking to it this year. Usually by now things have picked up a lot but this year it’s dull, they’ve put in the wrong bunch of people

Tbh I feel like using the public vote to pair people initially has not helped how the how has gone...Tasha and Andrew probably wouldn't ever have been together if it wasn't for that, nor Dami and Amber, Indiyah and Ikenna, Gemma and Liam etc etc. I feel like they all put in more effort with their original partners because they were pushed together that way instead of being able to choose like normal.

On Tasha, I can't see why she won't admit that she just doesn't like Andrew enough, she is not - in their words!! - 100%. I guess because there is no one else there for her really, no safe bet.

Tasha is in a strop because if Charlie had picked her she could have dumped Andrew under the guise of being open to get to know new people.

I agree. That’s not a bad shout. You could even say no coupling for two days, lots of single beds, dorm style. Then late on the third day they need to pick. Switch it to double beds. Have one extra boy or girl.. make them all go on a date with one other person of their choice. And then after that first coupling the one person who is not coupled up needs to leave immediately. So none feel safe.

personally though I’d make it slightly older folks, late thirties, forties, early fifties, thr on line dating veterans, and give them some booze and treat them like grown ups . Guarantee it would be a hoot.😂

I think Jacques is genuine, he looked broken last night, he’s got all these new feelings that he’s never had before and the girl he likes is in bed with another lad, he’ll be used to having girls all for him. Thought it was quite nice to see the growth in him from jacques the rugby lad role he’s been playing.

I loved Gemma being so straightforward and reacting so quickly.

I think she comes across as really measured Gemma, she not the loudest but when she does speak it’s usually sensible. She’s got Ekin Su’s number that’s for sure!

So Gemma is barely featured and the tabloids are saying it's gone from 'Gemma Island' to 'Gemma and Luca are so boring'

I hope Ekin Su is getting a production fee at this point.

Did anyone hear ES's brother on Aftersun saying something like "remember my face as you'll be seeing a lot more of it"
So I think they're planning world domination as a family.

@Pippinbird Love your Casa Amor idea. I'd go a step further and split them into more groups to promote secrecy. Maybe 3 original islanders and 6 bombshells.

Is that a "meet the family" hint? I hope ES finds someone to love and protect her. She needs to find security in a relationship, then I think the need for drama will abate.

Hi all! Have not watched Love island for almost a week! So excuse any dumb questions I ask? Was going to catch up but then I didn't have time and it was too many episodes. And also I was like I be doubt I've missed much apart from the 2 new people
