They have shown Brogan’s side eye from the get go - I noticed it right away and said as much weeks ago.

I’d have been caught with a sour look I’m sure as I have my inner core of cow on full view most of the time.

it might not be anything to do with that actual moment. Just maybe something like being cross for not remembering to pick up stock cubes the evening before or whatever.

Either that or someone in the editing suite has got the hump on. Not good really as she seems nice enough.

That said, I feel she was fortunate to stay this week as her peg was well shoogly.

Christian only went on fabric. I loved his frock. I could not wear satiny silky things as I’d look like a very ribbed prophylactic.

and that wouldn’t be for anyone’s pleasure.

I've really enjoyed this series. Any of them could win now but I do like Debra. I am not a fan of the woman who has taken over from Joe Lycett. I don't find her funny or interesting.

I'm not a fan of Sara Pascoe. She's OK but no, not as witty as Joe Lycett was.

I think the 'side-eye' from Brogan is her just checking to see how far the others have got. It must be nerve-racking, worrying that you won't finish in time.

I liked the series she did - Out of Her Mind. It was funny in a dead pan way and also poignant. She's not falling about laughing funny.

I like Sara Pascoe and I prefer her to Joe Lycett. I first came across Sewing Bee when the BBC was re-running old series during lockdown and I really liked Claudia Winkleman as the presenter, but it's understandable she's moved on.

I loved Claudia and was appalled when Joe took over. I then loved Joe and was appalled when Sara took over.

I don't dislike Sara as much as I thought I would and she's definitely settling in to the role as the series goes on. I'm getting used to her.

I agree with you about Brogan, and it's strange how she's seemed to dominate from the start. Maybe she's the winner.
I think Sara is lovely as a presenter - that's all they are, it's not about them, it's about the contestants.

It's really odd how our perceptions are different. I don't think anyone has dominated week after week. The only one I remember was Mitch (?) who went in the first week. he had a noticeable amount of extra coverage I thought.

Do they do floor length cardies my friend? And will it go with my poobag handbag do you think? 😘

I’ve no idea who will win and that is the great thing about this series. The glory is there for the taking. And everyone can be proud of things they’ve made.

It is indeed lovely - all of them are so good, and worthy winners. It's been very enjoyable this year (as ever). There always seems to be such a pleasant atmosphere!
I'm also glad that Sara had a healthy baby boy after much heartache 👌

I suspect she’s very much one of those people who are too good to be true.

Sarah Pascoe really infuriates me, she gives nothing to the show in my opinion. Brogan’s flirting is annoying me too @JellyBellyNelly, there’s definitely something about her that’s putting me off.

Honestly, I’ve not noticed any flirting but there is definitely an on camera persona as well as a very different one when she doesn’t realize she’s being filmed and she’s giving other competitors the side eye. It’s very off putting because it looks so sneaky.

@JellyBellyNelly I don't think she gives anyone side eye; I honestly think you are reading negativity into her when it's just a neutral expression. It's perfectly normal for anyone to look different when animated / speaking to camera, compared to when they are just watching and not engaging directly with being filmed. The others are the same.
