Strange vibe to the concert.

But I suppose there was a sadness to it, a feeling of pathos.

The last concert for our Queen, felt quite subdued and not raucous like the 2012 one.

Agree - a different mood for many reasons. In 2012 we were just heading into the London Olympics and there was a general feeling of optimism. Now we're limping out of a pandemic with costs rising left, right and centre; and the Queen too frail to join in the celebrations.

Yes it's strange how the thought of our Queen leaving gives an insecurity, even with the young.

Fireworks are not environmentally friendly and lots of people with pets object to them.

Brilliant, loved it ! Apart from Diana Ross being top of the bill, should've been a British singer.

Shame so many in here had negative views of the whole show.

Digital Spy saying the Paddington segment was a CGI version of the Queen, or a "deepfake".

it was a poor representation of British music. But then again not all bands are monarchists. I thought it was cringey and sycophantic but then I’m a republican.

That doesn't appear to be true though.

I'm willing to concede that Paddington might have beenCGI though.

I did think she looked a bit strange in the video, not just because she's older and frailer, it didn't seem like her at times

Aside from that, fireworks are not environmentally friendly. Your views are clear. I don't believe pet owners are dictating anything, it's just a responsible thing to do, i.e. not setting off fireworks. We live in a semi rural area so are mindful of not disturbing livestock - fireworks can have unintended destructive consequences.

All that money going up in smoke 🤦‍♀️ it just reminds me of the starving Irish children with moss stains arounds their mouth‘s watching the big fat Queen Victoria pass by and wave in their little flags. Weve not progressed at all

I absolutely adore fireworks but I did think the "colour explosion" (like the one at the beginning of the concert) just as the horses were lining up for the Derby was a bit reckless.
