Just realised the tennis ball emoji is missing from the app. Merde. Off to complain!

Fizzy I really only bother once a week GrinThe rest of the time, they fend for themselves.

I had forgotten Ds wouldn't be around.

I really didn't want this to be a 5 set match. I knew it might be tight, but didn't expect this.

Fizzywinegum · 29/05/2022 18:25

I wasn’t expecting this either - I’ve got a vision of Djok sat with his feet up, looking smug

Even if Rafa does win this it’s going to take it out of him physically Sad

Raahh · 29/05/2022 18:26

Fizzy I know SadI'm visualising smug Djok too.

Raahh · 29/05/2022 18:41

This is so hard to watch.
He will be playing catch up in the 5th set, because Felix will serve first- and I have a horrible feeling he will just run away with it.

I know I said I would rather he lost to Felix than Djok- but I didn't actually want him to lose at all!!

Raahh · 29/05/2022 18:42

I'm getting ahead of myself Grin
Felix is obviously serving for the set next.

Fizzywinegum · 29/05/2022 18:49

Yikes! Rafa just seems to be a little bit slower than usual at getting to balls Sad

Although I don’t want him to lose I think I would still rather he lost against Felix than against Djok!

JaneJeffer · 29/05/2022 18:49

I think Sam is a bit hungover or something today - Slow Stevens Grin

If he's going to lose I'd rather it was here but I want him to win Sad

I'm hoping if he gets through he'll be better against Djokovic because he won't have been watching Real Madrid the night before.

Yes, I think I do still think I'd rather he lost now than get beaten(or worse, end up like he did in Rome) against Djok. Of course, he could beat Djok- but I'm not really convinced at the moment, I think his foot is a big problem still, and Djok has had an easy run.

I can almost see him winning this, and withdrawing from the next match. And I can imagine the press having a field day with that.

Raahh · 29/05/2022 18:57

Jane the football is definitely part of the problem- he always plays crap after a match, doesn't he?

JaneJeffer · 29/05/2022 19:01

He looks determined now.

We need Felix to get an attack of the nerves now, because he might be about to get one of the wins of his career.

A few double faults.

Sorry Felix, if you were playing Djok, it would be different. Grin

JaneJeffer · 29/05/2022 19:03

We love you Felix just not today Grin

Vamos!

Raahh · 29/05/2022 19:12

If he loses this match thanks to the new fangled 10 point shitty tie break- I will cry.

JaneJeffer · 29/05/2022 19:15

The crowd is getting a bit wild after four hours sitting there.

Raahh · 29/05/2022 19:22

I suppose they have got their moneys worth- and will have to leave to let the 'night' ones in.

I bet Amelie is regretting her decision to sideline Rafa for Carlos now Wink
(although this would not have been great for Rafa as the night session, far too long and late).

I don't think a Djok/Rafa night match starting so late is a good idea- if it happens (or fair) either. Gives an advantage to their next round opponent, as ir could potentially be really long.

Fizzywinegum · 29/05/2022 19:23

I really don’t want this to go to a tiebreak Sad

Knowing Rafa going to the match probably messes with his routine

I love Felix as well but hoping he has a bit of a wobble soon!

JaneJeffer · 29/05/2022 19:24

Wow look at all the people outside!

OP posts:
Raahh · 29/05/2022 19:25

Fizzy it would be horrible. And Felix has a much better serve.

JaneJeffer · 29/05/2022 19:27

Vamos!

'Slow' has won Grin
I do like Sloane, when she's playing well, she's great. She plays Gauff next ,who was brilliant earlier.

Raahh · 29/05/2022 19:31

I still find the deck chairs funny.
