None is really doing it for me this year.
Kris should have left long time ago. I’m sure his talented but… no offence. But at this level of the competition, your producing (constantly) unfinished work that always has a messy execution. He hasn’t progressed. A real winner is someone who takes on feedback and week after week you see progression. I don’t see that with him.
I don’t think Nance should have went but when it came to the big case makeup she didn’t always deliver and her looks are always simple.
Yon Ching (sp?) is talented but I feel she has a particular style which we always see all the time. I wish she pushed herself more out of the box.
Lisa is amazing and is by far the best. I was disappointed with her look this week (I wasn’t impressed). But I do take Don’s point that her style is always very literal. But have you seen her Instagram page? (wow!).
I did like Rachel, I don’t think the show did her justice as her skills are remarkable. Take a look at her instagram page. But again, when it came to the big case makeup, she didn’t deliver.
I think Sophie is very very very talented. I loved her teenage rebellion look makeup and her skills are out of this world.Wow. But her perfectionist or anxiety unfortunately got in the way.
To be honest, I’m not overwhelmed by the contestants this year. I know who the winner is likely to be- whereas last year (ok- it was clear) but I still wasn’t sure as both contestants were very good. I also think that some of the earlier contestants, in this season’s, should have been in the finals.. rather than the current lot.
