I watched it with my DP and he said the femme side look like 'white chicks '. He wasn't progressive at all, the femme side long blonde hair, sexualised eyes and bright red lipstick! It was typical and lazy

We didn't realised a new series had started and only caught it as channel hopping, so went to the first episode, we are looking forward to the DR Who episode

My two favourite contestants have been the winner of the first show, who said that for a while he thought he was trans but eventually realised he just didn't fit stereotypes and had some incredible looks, and in the last series (I can't remember if she won) but the black lass who did the gold on her face in an early episode. I can still see the image if I close my eyes - incredible.

It was Dolli with this one.

Trying to find I saw loads of looks - such incredible talent. I'm afraid the losing look really did not fit skills wise.

They're on everything - Bake Off, Sewing Bee, Strictly etc. I don't mind picture of their kids and/or pets, but I don't want to hear about their courageous battle against dandruff or whatever.

I love Glow Up but much prefer Stacey Dooley as a presenter.

What baffles me with all the elf ears and shit, is how are they going to cope with the grown up, professional workplace?

The girl who won last year was fabulous and I loved that she wanted to go into special effects/injuries make up. Super talented.

I would go into work with elf ears and shit but I fear I would be fawned over as it feels as though it is all about being special or different. Even though 99% of us schlep through our day being hideously unspecial and trailing our shit bucket along with us without wailing into it.

I love that people celebrate their differences and embrace the differences that make them them. But I do feel that some are trying to hard to be that wee bit more special than Joe Schmoe. Why?

My relative manages to be beautifully different just fine. Senza walloping great lugs and horns.

I can't do makeup for shit. But I'm pretty sure I would have been able to glue on the pearl liner and had the same number of big/medium/small on each side.
