I thought there were touching bits, and I liked the other halves (well, the women - Philip is so stilted I'm watching him through my fingers), but it did feel like it could have been half an episode with more in it. Not sure it felt like the penpenultimate episode of the entire thing.

I actually hated that Kate took the lead & made a decision & then Kevin made another (better?) one.

Was Jack a lazy parent? He was out at work but looked pretty engaged with the family when he was about... a LOT of Jack hate on here! I know he's a bit annoying but he wasn't the devil. And Milo Ventimiglia is quite handsome.

Me too!! I settled down with a cup of tea, having waited patiently for the kids to go up to their rooms for the evening and nothing! WTF Prime? Been frantically googling and all that comes up are endless interviews and articles about sad this season is going to be. Where the fuck is it?! Have Disney got some special deal where they have to get it first? Bit late to the bloody party for territorial pissing if so.

Loved this episode, the song at the end is one of my all time favourites! Interesting that it was the same one when the house burned down.

I actually quite liked how they all figured out a way. Entirely implausible and tied up with a bow but I don't watch it for absolute normal life.
