Just caught up. The Miguel episode was heartbreaking I cried a lot, then managed to cry again the next day at work describing it to a colleague!
I am pleased that in the following episode it’s Miguel that Rebecca always calls and asks for rather than Jack.

GoofyIsACow · 18/05/2022 22:03

Just checking in, is tomorrow 17? So that plus one more?

MinglingFlamingo · 18/05/2022 22:45

Just watched the episode about the family meeting! How much time has passed between Miguel dying and the final scene???

Also! Is it me or is it a bit weird that Madison and her husband are just randomly there at the house playing. And just loitering around. I know it's probably due to kev's kids but it felt so shoehorned

Myhusbandsnores · 18/05/2022 23:46

Madison is also Kate’s best friend though so it’s quite nice that she’s still able to be a part of the family.

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/05/2022 08:04

It’s on Disney. Not prime

downloaded and will watch once dd is at school. Whoop

Just watched it on Disney!

(Thanks to a poster on here who said you can get three months' of Disney Plus with £6 worth of Tesco club card points 😃)

Netaporter · 19/05/2022 09:12

Watched it. Just used a whole box of tissues 😭 I thought it was really well done. Clever misdirection story line to boot (which is what this show does really well IMO). Full marks from me! Enjoy everyone.

MadisonAvenue · 19/05/2022 09:34

Well….I lasted 3 minutes and 8 seconds before the tears started.

XelaM · 19/05/2022 09:41

My heart must be made of stone, as I didn't cry once 😂but then I also never liked Titanic

XelaM · 19/05/2022 09:42

I did like the Marcus storyline though

everylittlehelp5 · 19/05/2022 09:54

Just watched it. It was sad and it wasn't long before I was crying but it wasn't as sad as I was expecting it to be.

I'm dreading next weeks episode more

User280905 · 19/05/2022 10:00

I thought it was all a bit miserable tbh, I wasn't nearly as moved as I thought I might be. But then I've never really been a big Rebecca fan, she wouldn't be my friend irl. I would just find her annoying.

I also wasted a lot of time wondering if I should know who Marcus was already. I wondered if he was Malik's brother or something.

And only Randall would use a word like dichotomy at a deathbed.

Disappointed and underwhelmed. What's wrong with me? And @XelaM 🤣

XelaM · 19/05/2022 10:32

@User280905 We're heartless 🤣

I can't believe Malik is still in the picture 🙄I was all excited about Deja's new boyfriend and suddenly Malik pops up again

XelaM · 19/05/2022 10:33

I also agree about Rebecca being annoying. The whole ditzy innocent pretty girl act is a bit grating.

coffeeneeded · 19/05/2022 11:08

Damn

It's on prime aswell. Well I cried! I like Rebecca. And I liked Beth's goodbye. I thought Marcus might be Deja's new man, annoying that she's still with Malik.

Isthatarealname · 19/05/2022 11:39

Just watched it. I'll try and not spoil but felt Miguel should have got more than a 30 second interaction. They were probably together for longer than Rebecca and Jack in the end?

User280905 · 19/05/2022 11:48

I also felt sorry for Miguel when I saw who she was with at the very end (trying not to spolier). He was always going to be second best.

Yeah, once again, I feel mugged of Miguel. He deserved way more than that. Randall always makes me emotional, but other than that, I feel a bit meh about it.

SickAndTiredAgain · 19/05/2022 11:58

I enjoyed all the little callbacks on the train, eg the dish of cranberry sauce that got broken, the Dr using the yellow towel to dry glasses. I was trying to see if I could get all the references.

That's the bit that really annoyed me.

LifeInsideMyhead · 19/05/2022 12:38

Er remind me about rhe cranberry and the yellow towel?

I saw the objects on the shelf behind the bartender and assumed they all had meaning too.

I am rubbish with details!

#spoiler alert!

cheers!

User280905 · 19/05/2022 13:13

The towel was from the birthday dance, right?

And the cranberry sauce was something to do with R&Js first thanksgiving with her parents? Where she argued with her mum the whole time

LifeInsideMyhead · 19/05/2022 13:20

This is why I love threads like this! I'd forgotten those.

I loved all the glances at the big 3 over the years on the train.
