BRILLIANT!!! had to binge the lot. Sienna Miller just wow... underestimated her !

I love the Old Bailey! I must see if I can get a tour in there one day, it's a fabulous building (although I understand the court room is a recreation, but I know some of it was in the OB actual).

So, I'm not sure how a Barrister could lie about where she studied as surely that would all be in her records (there's no doubt a proper word for it). I get that she could change her name no issue.

Overall I found it an easy watch, done in a lazy afternoon!

And resounding yes to clipping that kid around the ear with the whitehouses chanting!

Yes! Rewatched it a few weeks ago. One of my all time favourite series.

I couldn’t get past the first episode

just the dialogue and found it a bit hammy

Finished it today.

Actually really enjoyed it.

It gets better after episode 1 which is very hammy!

I have had covid this week and really enjoyed watching this from my sick bed!

I thought sienna miller's performance was really good and I liked the ending.

It was a bit of a stretch in the believability stakes but overall it was good.

Isn't Sienna Miller something else😍

I think Sienna Miller is a really talented actor but is lauded more for her looks.

I enjoyed it and Sienna is fab BUT...

I didn't find the end terribly believable. Won't write more because there's no spoiler warning though.

Also, I'm sorry to say, posh kids were so annoying. I especially can't cope with the little girl who was in that Netflix horror series. So precocious! That's me though. Call me a meanie

I binge watched this over a few days.

I really enjoyed it and despite a lot of people saying on here they guessed the spoiler, I genuinely was surprised! (I haven’t read the book of course)

Can someone explain though why they showed him being pushed up when he got arrested?

I didn't think she did lie - wasn't she dropping out of Cambridge in one flashback? I assumed she started again in Liverpool so that's where her degree is from. It was generally a ridiculous storyline though, as was the ending - I don't see what the police would have had to go on.

On the whole though enjoyed it- it was the perfect thing for a child free day when I wasn't feeling well!

I thought that was just the way they were playing around with the timeline, and they weren't intending to suggest that Kate had been briefed before anyone even knew there was a potential case.

Mind you, I did think it was quite funny the way the writers seem to be convinced that they only take one witness a day in Crown Court cases, and even if that witness's evidence only takes half an hour they still all bugger off for the rest of the day.

I THINK it's to do with the guy who fell off the tower - I think he thought the police were catching up with him about that, not rape

i thought the tower too but how on earth would they gain evidence, still i spose they had it coming

Yes, I watched it on Amazon Prime. I initially tried to watch the Russell Crowe movie but nah, I wanted to see the original cast. Simm, Macdonald, Nighy etc.
