I wonder if something happened on her works night out, she looked in the mirror and touched her mouth before going into the house.

Also, she was oddly calm when she found them shagging in the shed, just sort of stood and waited for him in the kitchen. Her lack of emotion is annoying me, it's a bit off putting.

We find we can’t get subtitles on ITV stuff when we watch it on TV via our TiVo box. We can on live broadcasts, just not prerecorded stuff. We can get subtitles if we watch via ITV Hub on other devices.

TheChosenTwo · 08/03/2022 18:03

I’m looking on the hub and can’t access episodes 2 and beyond, only yesterdays episode Confused what’s happening?!

dannydyerismydad · 08/03/2022 18:15

The actress playing Fi was also Miss Haversham in Dickensian.

She doesn't have much luck with men, does she?

whatsthestory123 · 08/03/2022 18:18

watched all 4 and no spoilers from me but keep with it i thought it was really good not like The Holiday really good imo

TheChosenTwo · 08/03/2022 18:26

@whatsthestory123 how did you watch all 4?! I can’t get any of them on the hub or anywhere else!!

User9805637 · 08/03/2022 18:42

I watched it all on BritBox, no ads on there either.

couldhavegonethen · 08/03/2022 18:46

All four episodes are on ITV hub as well.

TheChosenTwo · 08/03/2022 18:51

They’re not coming up on the hub for me!! I’ve searched and searched.
I don’t have Britbox - I pay for so many streaming things i refuse to pay for anymore Grin
I can watch it on my phone but I’m not a teenage Neanderthal! Just annoying as it’s not coming up on my tv at all.

kindlyensure · 08/03/2022 18:58

Yes, no spoilers please! I love the TV pace (thank you Blondes!) And the speculation...

SO my speculation is that Tuppence and Frenemy (Merle?) are actually in cahoots and they have 'trapped' Martin LOD into the transgression (explains the look she gives herself in the mirror at her works do - she knows what she will find when she goes home). Explains her rather detached attitude to the house sale. Off stage, we know he has gone awol because he has been 'stressed'. Maybe they are winding him up...

Also, Tuppence knew about his driving ban (evidence of unpaid speeding tickets.) She keeps tempting him to take the car coz she knows he can't drive so she wants to get him in trouble. Then the one time he does take the car, she knows (missing key in hall) and gets him to drive home knowing that he wants to get back with her. So the slow-down car was planned and could be Merle driving.

I mean I actually have no idea but that is what I've got at the moment! Look forward to being proved wrong!

User9805637 · 08/03/2022 19:03

I've only got BritBox as I got 3 months for £3, last day tomorrow though unfortunately. I've found that if I go through Sky to ITV hub a lot of things are missing, it is all on the ITV app on Samsung TV though

Not a bad plot @kindlyensure

Tho not sure wife is in on it

OP posts:
JaneJeffer · 08/03/2022 19:17

That's what I thought too @kindlyensure they share a lot of lingering looks but what about the other husband?

hawkinspawkins · 08/03/2022 20:10

Beautiful cherry blossom at front of house

Is the whole programme set in the same few weeks of Spring?

hawkinspawkins · 08/03/2022 20:14

@TheAbbotOfUnreason

I think the idea is that they bought the house as a doer upper 10 years ago and have made it their home and raised the boys there plus made gazillions of £ as the property market rose.
A detached victorian house in Dulwich would have been worth a bomb ten years ago
TheChosenTwo · 08/03/2022 20:19

Thanks, dd has loaned me her big iPad Grin
Still feel like a teenager watching stuff on small screen!
I’m on episode 3 now. No spoilers from me, I’ve already read the book so know how it all ends but it’s so far more enjoyable than the book which I did find to be utter tripe to be fair Grin

Housewife2010 · 08/03/2022 20:41

It's not detached. It's a terrace.

kindlyensure · 08/03/2022 21:02

Yes, Jane. Lots of meaningful looks. Plus the look Merle gave her from across the road when she came back to find her house sold. A kind of 'it's all kicking off now'. Anyway, onwards....

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/03/2022 21:03

She didn’t notice her car and keys missing

OP posts:
Rollergirl11 · 08/03/2022 21:08

I don’t think Fi is a very good actress.

Ineedastyleicon · 08/03/2022 21:09

It looks secure detached to me?

Supersee · 08/03/2022 21:09

The acting is so poor all round.

hawkinspawkins · 08/03/2022 21:10

Oh yes it isnt detached. Looks like a semi or end terrace

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/03/2022 21:17

Had house on right sjoined as look at it

So def not detached
