@SydneyCarton

“It’s not what it looks like!” Grin
Do people really say this, and “I can explain!” IRL when they have been caught shagging?
TheAbbotOfUnreason · 08/03/2022 12:06

I think the idea is that they bought the house as a doer upper 10 years ago and have made it their home and raised the boys there plus made gazillions of £ as the property market rose.

FloraFoxx · 08/03/2022 12:19

Fi is weirdly blank isn't she and yes who goes for a kick about in a park in a silk skirt and flimsy top.

Strange arrangement to have a flat for them to take turns in when he has his weekend with the kids. Surely it'd have made more sense for him to just stay in the spare room for a weekend, not sure how keen I'd be to have an ex in my house without me.

It's funny I only like Compston as Arnott in LOD, everything else he's been in he seems to play a permanently grinning prat.

LadyEloise1 · 08/03/2022 12:31

Is it being shown weekly or over the course of one week in the UK ?

It's being shown weekly in Ireland on Virgin Media1, who often gives Irish viewers a series months after it has aired in UK and often without subtitles which I find frustrating as some localised accents can catch me out - add this to my bad hearing.

youngestisapsycho · 08/03/2022 12:37

It’s all on ITV hub…I’m watching episode 3 at the mo.

Rollergirl11 · 08/03/2022 12:45

Does anyone know where the park is where they were playing football is in last nights episode? It has a big glass building. I know it but for the life of me can’t remember where. I first thought it might be one of the south London commons (Clapham, Wandsworth, Dulwich) but not so sure.

JaneJeffer · 08/03/2022 12:58

@LadyEloise1 ITV have it every night. I wish Virgin would get their act together.

LadyEloise1 · 08/03/2022 13:03

Thank you @JaneJeffer (love your username).
I too wish Virgin tv in Ireland would coordinate with the ITV screenings.
I'll bow out of this thread now for 4 weeks til I see them all.

@Blondeshavemorefun - thank you for all the interesting threads you start on different tv series.
You are "Queen of The Water Cooler" where we get to discuss tv series. Thanks

No we don't get the Hub or BBC I player sadly.
I would be willing to pay a small subscription for access to the I-Player and wrote to the BBC stating that.
I got short shrift I thought they could do with money saving ideas.

We have to pay a tv license fee for the Irish state broadcasting service RTE. People whinge don't they always about it but I think the radio section is particularly good.

Peckham Rye Park I think?

The actress playing Fi is really annoying me; so prim and prissy

Wait until you meet Wendy and her voice will make you want to wrap barbed wire around her neck.
foxlover47 · 08/03/2022 14:31

@the80sweregreat she was also on the washing sheets after sex thread I'm sure 🤣

Queeniepies · 08/03/2022 14:32

@ValerieCupcake I'm on episode 4 and yep, I agree! 😂

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/03/2022 14:36

@the80sweregreat

The other driver was targeting him I think , It seemed staged Maybe the OW's husband? Adrian ? She told him the baby isn't his, but maybe it is? How can Fi sit close to the OW too ? It is all very odd
That’s what I said

I would be confiding in the friends sat at the table saying Merle is a husband thief

🤣🤣these comments
I only like Martin in LOd too he always seems to play grumpy troubled men
Fi reminds me of Kate Middleton too 🤣
I gave in due to ongoing insomnia and watched it all ...
But of a weird ending

IcedPurple · 08/03/2022 14:38

Another series though where the cast all seem to have regular, normal jobs - Bram seems relatively junior in his role, yet they live in expensive 6 bedroom palaces. Meanwhile in the real world they'd be lucky to live in a 3 bed semi and would be saving for a decent bathroom to replace some 90s horror that needs replacing.

Yes, and also Fi seems to be wearing a new expensive looking outfit every day.

I think the baby could be Steve's. The boss coming on to him was creepy and agree the car chase looked staged...let's see what tonight brings...love their house!

JaneJeffer · 08/03/2022 15:41

Thanks @LadyEloise1 - I can watch ITV on Sky but can't record it so if I miss one due to football I will have to wait weeks to see it! I don't know why ITV are so mean to us. They used to own the Virgin channels and even then wouldn't show the same programmes as the UK. It's so weird and annoying.

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/03/2022 15:42

As a big huge house why don’t they sell it
