@SydneyCarton

I’m assuming Wendy is a fake name which explains the Turkish/Middle Eastern appearance. Surely no one in their twenties is really called that?
There are 20+ Wendys on the births register for the year 2000.
Blondeshavemorefun · 10/03/2022 21:57

Tho she said she had never met Toby aka Mike before

Why didn't she leave him there and they would have thought he committed suicide too? Stupid.

JaneJeffer · 10/03/2022 22:00

At least the boys have a house I suppose Grin

ImJustMadAboutSaffron · 10/03/2022 22:01

The final scene, where the police come for Fi, isn't in the book. It's left to the reader's imagination.

Emmas85 · 10/03/2022 22:01

I obviously over think things 😂
I was convinced the photo frame and spelling book were his message to her to meet him there! Wasn't the place in the photo the place he walked into the water? I was sure he had hidden a note in the spelling book in some sort of code haha! Need to lower my hopes I think!

lazymum99 · 10/03/2022 22:01

That is very unsatisfactory. I have been left worrying about those boys living on salad with their granny

Ginger1982 · 10/03/2022 22:01

Surely Bram was leaving clues with the spelling book and the photo. I thought it meant that he and Fi were going to meet up there...

PrincessScarlett · 10/03/2022 22:02

That was an annoying ending.

the80sweregreat · 10/03/2022 22:02

What did you all think of the final episode?
I watched it yesterday and it took me a while to work out what went on ! I'm not that quick sometimes ! Sad I know

I thought it was behind the photo because they kept showing it.

Pish.
JaneJeffer · 10/03/2022 22:04

Unsatisfactory @the80sweregreat

biddyboo · 10/03/2022 22:05

At least Bram felt remorseful for killing someone. A couple of hours after killing Toby, Fi is having a nice brew with Merle, thinking "this has worked out ok"

foxlover47 · 10/03/2022 22:12

I literally thought the spelling book would have some coded message as they banged on about it and showed it!
Then bram basically grasses Fi up by saying she didn't know Toby was Mike and I at that point laughed and thought what a load of crap 🙈🤣

the80sweregreat · 10/03/2022 22:16

Those poor boys ! Salad with Nan got ever more! I hope they inherit the millions one day
But not sure what would happen to the dosh

Jux · 10/03/2022 22:16

What a load of rubbish. Apart from the obvious, all the way through there was such idiocy, for instance

Man goes into his house, sees the chap who is engineering his doom, hits him, ex wife intervenes and then introduces them "this is Toby". Does home owner expostulate the obvious "Toby? That's Mike, the man who's blackmailing me" or "I know him as Mike, don't I Mike?" Or anything else? No he doesn't.

And so it's drawn out into the inevitable end (when I was 10/12 and got bored with the composition I was writing for school, I just killed everyone off, or as many as I could be bothered to).

Anyway, so many instances like the one outlined. Turned it into something, er, unsatisfactory....

So that's two of the main stars from LoD whose new lives on tv have bombed out.

Papergirl1968 · 10/03/2022 22:17

The Teacher, The Holiday and now Our House - all kept me hooked but objectively speaking were utter crap.
Although the made for TV movie I recorded on channel five the other day was in another class altogether! Grin
