Has anyone else seen the trailers for this? I don't know whether I can bear to watch it or not. It looks sooooo wierd!!!!

Just watched the end of it - cannot believe that woman who went to the US - she felt let down - had been bonding with a fucking doll for 2 days and then had to send her back because she wasn't perfect (has she looked in the mirror and seen her own hair ad she wants things to be perfect???) - tie her tubes now so she can't actually have a real baby!

Glad I don't live near her anymore I would have to stalk her in Danson Park and tell her what a complete loon she is!

OMG watched this last night!!!...glad at least their dh's accept its farking weird!..WTF, get real "there's no harm in walking a 'doll' around in a pram"???, and buying roberto cavalli outfits???????dear lord!

I found it quite sad and disturbing if I am honest. The gran seemed desperate but the curly bonce was just mad and playing at babies !

no one else..'really' would go up to them pushing dolls in buggies at their age and think oh thats cute would they!!!..alarm bells!!!!...oh and if we're being picky, no WAY should the granny with the Harry replacement have put the new born in the britax FORWARD facing car seat!..far too big for him, should have been rear facing...if your mad enough to buy a car seat for it, you should at least get the right one..its not going to grow out of it for gods sake!

God that ebay doll has made me feel quite sick - adopt if you have to, but don't buy that for your DD Twinkie1, she'll be scarred for life. It's just gruesome. Really shouldn't have looked at that so soon after breakfast.

I have seen one on a website called Tabitha and she is premature. I swear it is sick she has tubes coming out of her stomach and even has a shunt in her head! Who would have one of these dolls for pleasure, it looks like a macabre piece of art which would not look out of place in a Marilyn Manson video.

Utterly odd that she would go and have a doll made to look identical to her daughters child.

I think they will repeat it out of sheer public demand. i do not think people could quite believe the lunacy of it all. My husband worringly thinks that perm lady is one step away from snatching a real child. I think she really wants kids and hubby doesnt so she goes along with what he wants. The grandma lady said she isnt hurting anyone by having the doll but judging by her husbands reaction she is. The poor man was mortified and quite right when he said it looked like it had come of a mortuary slab.

You can watch it again for free on 4od via the internet you need to down load the software from channel4.com if you don't have it already, it takes a little time but IMO its worth it.

Must admit just seeing the dolls go into the oven at the beginning freaked me out and I presumed Harry was dead as well. My dad's sister emigrated to New Zealand 50 years ago I will have to check for a doll next time I visit him .
