I just caught up and read all the comments. Seems I'm not the only one who found the throwing out gifts thing odd!
I've really surprised myself because I absolutely couldn't stand Shane from the start and thought he was some fuckboy, but I've really warmed to him and think he is a big goofball with a big heart and I'm rooting for him and Natalie! He had me laughing so much as well when he was talking about wearing a tux cape for the wedding
I don't think anyone else is a good match at all though. Danielle has so many issues that she needs to work on before she dates anyone, let alone get married. Besides, her and Nick are opposites and not in an opposites attract kind of way, more like chalk and cheese. Every time they're on screen she's hysterical about something and they're falling out, but I also feel like there's something really "off" about Nick, I don't think he's this nice guy he portrays himself as. I can't pinpoint it exactly but he gives me the ick. Maybe someone else can see it?
Iyonna should never have said yes to Jarette's proposal. She's second choice and she knows it, I guess no wonder she's a bit paranoid about stuff. Iyonna strikes me as very young for her age, I didn't realise she was 27... she feels more like 19/20 to me by the way she acts and talks.
Sal and Mal... I think they're a bit meh as a couple. I did like Mallory but thought she was a bit sly when Jarette approached her a few episodes ago, but she seems to have moved on from that. I don't think stuff is adding up about this girlfriend-but-not-actually-a-girlfriend of Sal's, there is definitely a lot more to this story. Sounds like Sal has been stringing along a woman for the past year and then ditched her for the show. I'm not buying that it wasn't serious.
Deep and Shake... not sure what to say about them really. Loved what Shake's mum had to say to him though. I don't understand marrying someone that you don't feel physically attracted to, sounds like a recipe for disaster. Deep deserves better.
And I'm just glad Shaina ended things with Nick, I couldn't bear watching any more of him ditching vegetarianism and trying to convert to Christianity or whatever for her, he was so desperate with no self respect and I felt embarrassed to watch. And I loved how Shaina's plan with Shane backfired!
