I’ve just seen this on Netflix, apparently the first 5 episodes are up and the next lot drop next week. Anyone watching? I loved the first season

Just watching episode 5 and wtf is Danielle talking about? Nick left for 3 hours so she watched him from the balcony then sat in the cupboard and cried? Either she’s nuts or they’ve edited this really weirdly to miss out part of the story because it makes no sense

I think Danielle is definitely unhinged, nick was a Saint in dealing with her unreasonableness. Anyone else think nick is a bit camp?

Yes I had that thought too. Didn't notice anything during the pods but then once at the resort I really have!

Just finished ep 5. Nick and Danielle won't last. Shaina and Shane are so gonna hook up. Don't like Mallory.

As far as I can see, the slim girls are the only ones who have a fiancée. I’m on the holiday episode now.
On the first episode, larger girls were talking about looks didn’t come into it in the show, but none of these girls seem to have a fiancée.

Binged the available episodes last night. Don't like Shayne or Mallory. Very disappointed in Jarret! No idea what Shaina and Kyle were thinking! Shake is just too shallow. Roll on Friday!

I veered into dislike for Mallory when she came out with the “I’m a guys girl” and all that, I do like her and Sal individually but can’t see it working (but would like it to).

I actually think Shake is in an impossible situation. He just doesn’t fancy her but he wants to… which always ends the same way… not good. He did indeed come across as a pain initially but I think he’s trying to figure himself and his motives out? As for Deep, oh my gosh another one avoiding reading the signs! “We are just going to wait!”

The puking girl and strange fiancée- that is gong to car crash too, her outburst doesn’t bode well for a sane and stable relationship!

I am clearly over invested.

I'm watching ep5 just now! No way can I see nick and Danielle lasting... to be frank, I can't see any of the couples lasting!

I love this show. I've watched all 5 episodes already and will no doubt finish the next 5 over the weekend!

My thoughts on the couples:
Danielle & Nick - thought they were the strongest couple at first but Danielle is definitely starting to self-sabotage, which is a shame because I think they have potential and could be great together, but she's clearly expecting to get hurt so that's what's gonna happen.

Shake & Deepti - couldn't stand Shake at first but I think he's already shown some growth. Deepti will definitely end up getting hurt though. If there's no physical attraction there's really nothing that can be done about it.

Kyle & Shaina - can we please talk about that awkward kiss when they first met! It was painful to watch. I can't tell if he's really deluded or if he does realize she's not that into him. She's really giving him nothing to suggest that things will work out. Also who doesn't believe in evolution in this day and age??? That alone would be a firm dealbreaker for me.

Shayne & Natalie - Natalie's my favorite on the show. Shayne can go F himself. When a couple on the show has an argument as early on as in the pods, that's really not a good sign (has that even happened before?). They're clearly not compatible. Also I feel like he keeps stonewalling her, the way he just walks off whenever things aren't going well.

Mallory & Salvador - I have SUCH a crush on Sal! My god... his smile! If Mal doesn't want to marry him I will. And to top it off he's such a sweetheart, so it's horrible to watch Mal hurting him. I liked her at first but she's starting to annoy me.

Jarrette & Iyanna - Iyanna's lovely, Jarrette's being a dick. It was so inappropriate for him to comment on Mal not getting a gold ring. I admit I do think he and Mal would look better as a couple, but they both made their decisions and they're being really unfair to their current partners.

Also who doesn't believe in evolution in this day and age???

Yeah! She talks about it as though she's talking about vegetarianism or something. Just a difference of opinion Her insta was full of people congratulating her on staying true to Jesus.

Souch awkwardness in this show! The initial kisses when they meet each other all seem awkward to me. I know they're supposed to feel like they're "in love" and therefore should be falling into each other's arms, but it just looks so fake. I would imagine in that situation you'd want to just look at them for ages and take it all in. Reconcile everything you've heard over the last however long with the person standing in front of you.

Deepti and Shake in the pool was so awkward. Why can't people tell when someone just isn't at the same place as them? It seems somobvious looking in.

I'm not sure that any of the couples so far will go the distance. Is that it now or do we get more couples?

I don't understand how these people "fall in love" and propose so quickly. It must be something about coming in being primed to fall in love seeing as they've invested their time, and having nothing else to do or think about all day everyday.

Probably also a lot to do with the producers plying them all with alcohol every waking moment of every day. They haven't even tried to edit it out.

They're all in a high-stress situation, being filmed all the time, not allowed any contact with friends or family (in that phase) - and kept constantly drunk.

The lack of ethics is quite disturbing.

Kyle needs to get some bloody self respect. I'm not a vegetarian myself, but he was so quick to throw away his morals in chowing down on a rare steak after being a vegetarian for 8 years, all to impress Shania!
She's so clearly not into him, he's like the Mark of this season!

Mallory had instant ick with Sal, I don't understand why she continued.

Shane should have gone for Shania, it wouldn't last but they'd have a great time.

Did they make Shania and Kyle leave for not sharing a bed? I would have thought she only went to Mexico to see Shane and so leaving before the party seemed weird.

But my biggest question is how does Shake have such a big opinion of himself? Man's ego is the size of Jupiter.

Oh and Iayanna and Nathalie should throw off men and get together.

Yes! I find his "I'll do/be whatever you want act" really sickly tbh, I felt the same about Mark who really tried to push what a good guy he was, and I remember it turned out he was cheating on Jessica and then he got with someone else from the show after and cheated on her too.

When Nick said they had sex “Twice in three different places” am I the only one who thought he meant 3 different holes rather than locations I thought blimey TMI or what 😂
