Did anyone watch this?

I remember this awful event. The documentary last night was very interesting.

Oh wow, that must be really interesting to get in to!

The brain is amazing at 'filling in the gaps' if you're confused as to what you have seen!

Criminology is a load of shit. But yeah, that's exactly how the brain works.

Haha I'll cross that off my list then Grin

According to all 3 jury's, there isn't evidence of his innocence either. 1 found him unanimously guilty and the other 2 couldn't decide.

TBH, I'm amazed someone is allowed to make money by telling their completely bias story in a book, when they have never actually never been truly acquitted. 1 jury unanimously found him guilty and the other 2 couldn't agree whether he was guilty or innocent. How this makes someone innocent is beyond me.

It's that juries aren't asked for evidence that someone is innocent. They are asked guilty or not guilty.

The three juries you mentioned didn't all have to make a judgement on the same information. The third jury knew what the first was told and how it was challenged by evidence brought at the second and third trials. That's why their verdict matters most.

Being found not guilty is the only way you can be declared innocent. If a jury cannot agree a guilty charge when the charge requires a unanimous or majority verdict, you have to treat the accused as innocent. You can't then stop them from getting on with life, writing books etc.

He was our deputy head and we grew up with Billie. Never any signs of what's said and the girls I grew up with were very close. The day the news broke all the girls were broken as we're we. Always interested me this case being so close to home.. read an article that levi bellfield admitted it to a cell mate.. love to no the truth

Bellfield has confessed to other murders, but I have never heard any mention of him confessing to Billie Jo's murder.
