He was also probably scared of her reaction, seeing as she was such a devout religious person that was not accepting of homosexuality. So he likely panicked and just said the first thing that came into his head to get him out of any trouble (and pass the blame onto the other boy).

Just watched all 4 episodes. Wasn’t too bad, could have been better.

The lawyer reminded me of both a cross between Borat and Matt Hancock! He was some sort of comedy type, which I think detracted from the seriousness of it.

And poor Noah would have a criminal record for sexual assault, even though it wasn’t. A UK enhanced check asks if you’ve got convictions, including from abroad. It would really go against him.

Sorry looking at it too in depth!

I won't lie, it has put me off a bit tbh. But thankfully I don't have any sons to worry about!

i won't lie, it has put me off a bit tbh. But thankfully I don't have any sons to worry about!

Mine is only 8 and he's adamant he's never going on a plane! We haven't made him feel like that, it's entirely his own thoughts. I have tried to tell him that going on a plane is exciting and far safer than travelling by car. He will change his mind one day though and as all parents, I will be worried out of my mind.

We haven't travelled abroad for 15 years now and there are countries I would never want to visit with a young child, one being Portugal after the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. I know many will say I'm being ott but it's how I feel ..

Years ago I watched Midnight Express and had the same reaction, still now I couldn’t bring myself to go to Turkey!

The chances of that happening are quite rare, and I’d imagine Portugal wouldn’t want another case like MM ever again.
