Ok I rewatched the court but

At 20m the man said there was superficial damage to Milo sinus but no force

A quick online check reveals that the age of consent is 18 in Turkey, so both boys were well underage. There is no law against gay sex, although it is frowned on by many religious people in Turkey.

To me, it doesn't ring true that Milo dropped the case but the authorities still decided to pursue the case - why bother? The boys were similar ages and the forensic evidence found semen from both boys, implying they had both ejaculated, so it follows they had both found the experience pleasurable. So, who was the victim and what was to be gained by prosecuting the case? Would they still pursue the case if this had been a boy and a girl, or was it down to institutional homophobia?

I felt sorry for Noah, having to give all the details of what happened, to a bunch of strangers, with his parents looking on - distressing and embarrassing for anyone, straight or gay. It brought home how awful it must be for anyone to stand in the witness box and talk of such intimate things, especially victims of sexual crimes, but also those wrongly accused of such crimes. It takes courage to go through that.

I thought it was crap.

The sisters fling and the husbands drug use were pointless .

Having SS in it made me think of the tv series Benidorm. I don't think it was serious enough.

@Monty27 Yes, only TV, just fiction, so perhaps I should not take too much notice of the plot holes. It was well acted enough that it caught my interest, but a bit of a silly storyline in some ways. Maybe it would have worked better as a film, or just a 2 part series, as there was a lot of pointless filler there. At least it might serve as a warning to anyone going abroad that they need to be well aware of the local laws and stay within them.

They said Noah hadn't assaulted Milo ,but what was he actually guilty of given there was only weeks between the two boys ?
And also why did Milo tell his mum about him and Noah anyway ?

I don't think Milo wanted to tell his mum anything. Especially as it sounded like it wasn't his first time with a boy. She was ringing him repeatedly when he was with Noah, so she probably forced it out of him somehow!
