Wow. I've never filled a thread before!

I think someone on the ground will die and the paraffin will have something to do with it possibly in conjunction with fireworks.

The Turners' house is very modern (but soulless imo), the train driver's house had some fashionable colours but the big old fireplace was still there, the woman who had killed her babies a few series ago was living in a slum with old brown furniture. I think several other patients have lived in the same building in similar rooms.

Our lights keep flickering - if our power goes in the next 3 hours that's a roast dinner and CTM I'll miss out on!!!

PR pics on Instagram show a subdued Nonnatus around the table - minus Sister J and Dr T ...and then there's also been a teaser with Timmy saying 'Left Unsaid... the last word can hurt the most' which is just cruel to dangle Dr Mansplainer's death in front of us and then whip it away!!

I hope people don't see this as a spoiler as the situation could obviously change but I saw a newspaper photo of Sister Julienne and Dr Turner on stretchers and they didn't have their faces covered, which you would expect if they were declared dead at the scene? So I'm feeling hopeful!

Countdown! I was going to get wine but not feeling it. Chocolate buttons chilling in the fridge instead. I am retreating to the bedroom to watch just in the event that I 'might' shed a tear (like the old CTM days) as I don't want DH taking the pee out of me.

I have the relevant coloured mugs ready for our Call the Midwife pot of tea.

if its someone on the ground, what if its Fred? He is one to go and help isn't he? Poor Reggie if Fred dies.

How long is tonight's episode?

Perhaps nobody will die! I was rewatching some old episodes and enjoyed Dr T much more when he was a bit harassed and chaotic, running around saying "Hell's teeth!" and suchlike. There's a few episodes where he gets a real dressing down too (I particularly enjoy Sister MJ taking bites out of him). Pity he's become so deified.

Fred & Reggie were sitting around the table with all at Nonnatus, looking glum, so don't think it's either of threm.

And Nurse Crane had better NOT be on that train!

I just hope they don't leave us on tenterhooks with various characters hovering twixt life and death, with the outcome not revealed until the start of the next series.

I want this wrapped up tonight!
