Who is your favourite character on Ghosts (BBC)?

I love this show. It's very sweet, and very funny. My favourite character is the captain, because he's HOT. Also love Fanny and how outraged she gets at everything

I only found Ghosts a few weeks ago, and am completely obsessed! Caught up on all episodes in time for the new series.

I think it's so cleverly written, and can be so poignant. The Christmas specials are great, and the Mary episode was so sad.

Gutted it's going to be the last series, and hoping they don't all get 'sucked off'.

Hoping they don't all get sucked off too. The Mary episode made me 😢.
Looking forward to the start of the new series and hoping it ends on a high.

Kitty - I love her honesty and enthusiasm. She is never held back by wanting to be 'cool'. I wish I was more like her.

I'm in Australia so will have to wait to see Series 5. The ABC have been running series 1-4 so it looks like they're trailing the eventual showing. Fingers crossed they can scrape together the money to buy the broadcasting rights before Christmas. I'll stay away from this thread until then to avoid spoilers

Robin. Robin's liking of 'bum' and 'chips' lead to a long discussion as to whether he could have experienced chips because he would have no access to potatoes.

I quite like the actor when he is playing Sir Humphrey Bone's head.

In the US series I like Flower.

DD and I agreed last night that 'who is your favourite character in Ghosts?' is actually the most difficult question in the world and impossible to answer!

We also love Yonderland and frequently offer to 'cast off our cumbersome robes' and call each other Debbeh.

I just love it whenever the captain crouches down - he looks so uncomfortable and it's usually so he can talk to 'Katherine'. He's so kind to her!

Can I also just say... Murder SHE wrote 😁

Oh my gosh, they are all such good actors. I love kitty with her balloon enthusiasm. They all have such good expressions and voice tones. Very very good.
I couldn’t get into the USA one at all though,don’t know why, maybe because they don’t seem such solid characters? shame!
