Who is your favourite character on Ghosts (BBC)?

I love this show. It's very sweet, and very funny. My favourite character is the captain, because he's HOT. Also love Fanny and how outraged she gets at everything

All of them! If I had to choose it would be Mike as he is the cog in the wheel

I love them all but I find the Captain's character quite moving so he's probably my favourite. I cry every time at Pat's Death day episode.
Kitty is probably my least favourite which is a shame as I love Lolly Adefope normally. I think they've hamstrung her character with the giggling neediness and it would be nice to see a bit more depth. I did love her confused terror when Julian changed Grease to Nightmare on Elm Street, though!

I think the Captain is hot too. I also have a thing for Mathew Baynton in his various incarnations in Horrible Histories which transfers over to Thomas. But, as others have said, my favourite changes depending on the episode.

Still waiting for series three to make it over to Canada. I am willing to pay for the eps, or sign up with a other streaming service, but, no luck. (Series 1 and 2 are free on CBC Gem.)

I have watched all the US versions’ episodes, (I’m in Canada), and, although it improved after the first episodes, it lacks the charm of the original.

The living leads, the couple, have no chemistry, and the female lead lacks Charlotte’s great talent with physical humour. (She is fantastic in Moonah Ston.)

DH and I have started to watch it again from the beginning- 4th time we have watched it all.
I commented that it took me until about series 2 the first time to realise the ghosts upstairs and in the cellar are mainly played by the same actors and that Robin the caveman also plays the head of the one that never has his head with his body. This has come as a complete revelation to DH and he thinks I am wrong.I think I'm right.

Question about Kitty... is the implication she was adopted by her parents (hence the sister bullying her) or was she an illegitimate love child?

The fandomwiki states she is adopted. I like the love child angle though.

I didn't even realise! The actors are so great in this.

That wiki says that Fanny was “ Age late 50’s or early 60’s at time of death)”. I think that’s way off. Is there something in series three that would suggest this?

Prawn go dooka dooka and moona moona are regular comments in our house so definitely Robin! Also have a crush on the captain though! Thomas’s damn your eyes gets used pretty often too!

I loved it when she was on Taskmaster!

We have several Ghostisms - “he shake poo from lady-shoes” from the superb Thomas Thorne Affair.

And Mary trying to read the cards in the card game and saying “the several of cubs”

I loved the introductory episode with the very matter of fact doctor saying “you see, I’m dead” as he floated through a chair.

And OMG the German pilots shouting “haalloooo” was hysterical!!!

I am sure Mary, the Captain, Pat, Kitty, Thomas and Robin all play cellar ghosts as well. DH eventually conceded last night that I 'may be right' which sounded begrudging to me . I may LTB as someone up thread suggested.
