Who is your favourite character on Ghosts (BBC)?

I love this show. It's very sweet, and very funny. My favourite character is the captain, because he's HOT. Also love Fanny and how outraged she gets at everything

My favourite are the plagued. XD know all about the boiler and electrics even though they died before the gas man.

Robin and Mary are just delightful. Although I love them all. I'm trying to find a way to watch the American version but having no luck. I wonder if the American ghosts are just as lovely.

I love all the characters, but especially The Captain and Mary. And Pat!

I have a humongous crush on BW so the Captain is probably my favourite but Julian is the funniest. I spent this Christmas bingeing Yonderland too (late comer to the party!) and some happy afternoons on You Tube. They are funny people who seem to genuinely like each other.

Think they are all great. Can I also recommend 'Bill' (Shakespeare) It's currently free on prime.

Lots of stills and updates from the US Ghosts on Twitter but no idea how/when we can watch it over here.

Somebody (Jim Howick?) gave quite a political answer about their involvement however (Exec producers but too busy with their own projects to get very involved) which made me think that perhaps it’s not very good. Though the US Office started badly too so who knows!

Love Ghosts. It's one of the only TV programmes I can think of where there isn't really a 'lead' character.

We definitely use the vocab in this house. Occasionally I will message my son with just:

Though I know someone who's worked with Matt Baynton and he is apparently an absolute delight. Apparently they all are.

It’s such a great show for all the reasons mentioned. So poignant and funny and great characters. My favourites are Pat and Julian, I love how the 80s and 90s references come through in their experiences. It’s so clever.
Really like Charlotte Ritchie as well, loved Fresh Meat.

It's hard to pick a favourite a they are all great. But if I had to chose it would be Robin

Favourite line. "It wasn't me. It was me". We use it all the time.

And it's series 4 that is filming at the moment. 3 had already aired and all 3 plus 2 Christmas specials are still on iplayer.

My favourite piece of trivia about that: it was originally going to be called 'Apocalypse Slough' but they changed it because they thought American audiences wouldn't be able to pronounce Slough! I think that would have been a much better title!

I think my favourite Ghosts character is Julian. I loved the bit where he describes his first days at Eton, Oxford and Parliament and says 'same boys really'...!

Robin, definitely. Lots of Robinisms adopted in this house, especially ‘moonah’ and ‘horsie go dooka dooka dooka’.

Robin in our house too, 'Dooka dooka dooka' is a favourite. As well as trying to hide in a fridge to go 'BOO!!'

I think one of my favourite episodes is the one with the burglary where Mike is alone with the ghosts. So many great moments.

Earthymama we loved You Me and the Apocalypse but wished they'd kept the original title they were going to use, Apocalypse Slough .
