It's not exactly the first time he's been to Australia, is it? Not even during the pandemic. He should sort his own visas. Like an adult.

They need to sort all this mess before the tournament draw is made tomorrow. I don't want him in it. There's definitely someone in qualifying who deserves the place far more. Anyone.

Surely he'd have signed it anyway? So knew what it said, and if he did sign it when blank well tough, the signature prob has the usual blurb about all info being true etc.

If it's anything like the US immigration form, signing a declaration with wrong info is a federal offence.

Even if you have help it's your responsibility what you sign. It's a pathetic excuse.

Also not an excuse that would fly for anyone else.

The draw has been made, and Djok has been drawn against Kecmanovic- a fellow Serb.
Why does that feel a bit convenient? Certainly solve the problem of trouble in the stands if the fans are all on the same 'side'.

Everytime I looked at something yesterday it said something different- I am still not going to believe anything until the tournament starts and he absolutely isn't there.

I don't want the whole tournament to be the Djok Show- the US open was bad enough for that, with all the '21 slams' stuff. I have never been happier to see him lose.

Whether he’s there or not we know all the commentators will be talking about it anyway!

I'm a bit confused on the timing - if they Australian minister had announced this yesterday Djokovic wouldn't have been in the draw.....if he announced tomorrow there wouldn't be time to appeal.....by announcing today he leaves the whole thing in limbo again.

I've just been looking at the draw. Sasha seems to have the easiest run to the semi's in theory I think.
Emma has a horrible opening match.
Rafa's route to the final is tough but hopefully with all this chaos he can just fly under the radar a bit and at least get through the first week.

Sloane Stephens can be brilliant but more recently has not been good at all. If Raducanu can be as mentally resilient as she was winning the US, I give her a good chance.

Naomi Osaka may play Ashleigh Barty a bit further down the line. THAT will be a match!

I started watching the Djok hearing on YouTube but it was a bit boring - he just needs to quietly leave the country and just go away! (Rafa to win the French Open and be GOAT - I can but dream!)

You know me fizzy I like to plug the Brits (well, most of them!) And it's no mean feat to lob a giant, even by the King of Lobs
