Yes when at the end of the property porn show they said "oh we aren't selling we are letting for a tv series" I thought "that's an apprentice house if ever I saw one"

Sorry to bring the word up again, but Boujie has a a different meaning to me.
Admittedly I watch too much Vanderpump Rules, but they use it in a tongue in cheek kind of way.
You use it when your doing something the rich and famous would do. For example:

"I'm drinking champagne at 11am on a Wednesday. This is sooooo boujie"

Can anyone remember a few years back when virtually all the contestants wore bright blue contact lenses? Then they would appear on the BBC2 aftershow with different coloured eyes, it always freaked me out.

I think it was just the way they coloured the film in post production. ??? If you think about it The boardroom is very blue/cool hues

I would like a former contestant to come on here and answer questions about their series. Do they get to go home during filming? how long is the gap between tasks? Do they really have 30 minutes to get ready ?
Were they looking for fame or genuinely wanted the business opportunity?

It features Lisa van der pump and her establishments. She used to be in Real Housewives of Bev Hills until she was supposedly turned on by a bunch of hypocrites posing as chums.

Anyway. Her lovely restaurants/bars are staffed by a bunch of the young and beautiful who appear to be mouthy and also love the drama.

Ideal ‘don’t have to think and could wander off for a brew or a pee without worrying about missing something crucial’ type telly.

A bit like Midsomer Murrrdurrs. You might nip to the kitchen and miss a murder or indeed an illicit kiss or fight in VDP Rules, but it doesn’t matter on the big scheme of things.

Really uncomfortable to see how Shama is being subtly excluded and marginalised. Francesca seems like the kind of ghastly pushy Surrey blonde who is horribly racist but would never admit it.

I hope Shama wins the whole thing, she's the only real person there. The rest of them are utterly vile.

I'm so going to enjoy Francesca's firing, hope Lord Sugar really goes for it. She's as bad as Luissa Zissman.. I utterly hated her.

I don't think Francesca will get fired. I think she will possibly win. If she does get fired, it will be 'With regret..."

I think she is one of the few with an eco product.

Shama is definitely getting excluded, not a "woo" girl. Happens all the time if your face doesn't fit in a group, really feel for her as I've had it done and seen it done over the years in "corporate" situations where looks, presentation and background matter (probably religion and colour too here) more than substance. Sucks.

I think Lottie's definition of "massively scripted" and mine are somewhat at variance. In fact there's no script at all, but definitely there's a spin, and careful editing. My sister's colleague was on it a few years ago and said that the days are very long and demanding (although the house is great) and there's little time to reflect. It's really high pressured. She enjoyed the challenge, but felt some people were on it just to get on tv, rather than get the investment. No surprise there!

However, if someone is thinking it is good viewing (with editing and spin) to watch Shama be sidelined as she is then they want their own little puds kicking.

It makes for uncomfortable watching and is making me see red. (Not green or brown with that thank you).

Someone is having it large with a chainsaw right outside my work and it is like sitting next to a very big angry wasp. The barstewards 🤬

I don't think it's spin with Shama, she's most definitely being ignored! If they don't include her next week, I'll be very annoyed.

I'm not sure it's scripted, but I think they talk for the benefit of the camera/audience much more than they used to (when they actually did the tasks reasonably well!).

For me, I don’t think everyone was so desperate to be seen, heard or be Insta ready back in the day.

Everybody wants to be a brand right away and we all know there will only ever be one of those

It would also be quite entertaining if they did pick the actual best candidate and not the best business that LordShug has had his beady on from the get go.

He shouldn’t get to sniff the business until at least the interview stage.

That would put the wiffy in among the pidges.
