Couldn't see that there was a thread for this so come hither and place mark in readiness for tomorrow's first episode!

@Haggisfish3

He is. He injured himself at the last minute. It’ll be interesting to see Tim. First apprentice winner-boy done good!
He fell off his bicycle and nearly lost his leg! Like others on here, I'll miss his dry wit!
ArblemarzipanTFruitcake · 06/01/2022 07:28

Checking in! Can't wait!

Amandasummers · 06/01/2022 07:31

Omg. I have been waiting far too long for this. Apprentice is my absolute favourite! Anyone know if there’s a way to watch all the old series? I feel like I need to binge from the very beginning 🤣

Exhausteddog · 06/01/2022 16:03

Poor Claud! I like him.
I note that bodycon dresses are still in favour with the women. No doubt high heels as well.

I'm gutted Claude isn't in it this series, he's my favourite. It always makes me laugh when they are given a practical task (at a factory/farmyard/gardening/decorating etc) and they're still tottering about in high heels and straight skirts or the men are poncing about in suits when anyone in real life would be dressed suitably (but unglamourously) for the task!

I watched the first series and Tim was (hopefully is) much nicer, more normal, and less full of bullshit themselves than the more recent contestants.

minou123 · 06/01/2022 16:51

Yay, I was hoping someone had started a thread for this years Apprentice.

I'm also sad Claude was injured and will be missed.
I remember Tim from series 1 and he was really nice. Apart from the time he and Paul tried to stich up Saira in the home shopping channel task. Luckily it hugely back fired and they lost the task.

ArblemarzipanTFruitcake · 06/01/2022 17:43

I was glad to see there's an older candidate - a woman of 48 (I think). Of course, she might turn out to be as deluded and annoying as everyone else but it will be interesting to see how someone of my age fares.

Pebbledashery · 06/01/2022 17:50

Such good TV tonight, dragons den at 8pm and apprentice at 9pm!

ArblemarzipanTFruitcake · 06/01/2022 17:51

Ooh, I hadn't spotted Dragons Den - thanks for the heads-up!

Birdkin · 06/01/2022 17:53

Definitely gutted about Claude, it won’t be the same without his disgusted expression in the background…

His evisceration of the pictures of boats guy is still my favourite apprentice moment of all time. Hope Tim’s been practicing his withering put downs!

Definitely my favourite ever!🤣 Please leave!

Poor Solomon. He was actually really good until that point (and iirc quite a nice guy as well).

Pebbledashery · 06/01/2022 17:59

Please leave 😂😂😂 that was so brutal

Exhausteddog · 06/01/2022 18:32

@Pebbledashery

My teen DD says please leave (in quite a Claudish manner - despite not seeing that series) when I go in her bedroom. It makes me laugh every time.

Rollergirl11 · 06/01/2022 18:34

Marking place for later!

Italiangreyhound · 06/01/2022 18:49

minou123 I also remember Tim from series 1 "...he was really nice. Apart from the time he and Paul tried to stich up Saira in the home shopping channel task. Luckily it hugely back fired and they lost the task." What did they do?

Poor Claude. Sad

I've picked my top 4 candidates based on appearances. I like to see if they match up to the power look! Then I reassess after the first episode.

Ohmych · 06/01/2022 18:53

I am so excited for this I've missed it so much.

That fight that Saira and Paul had in series one was hilarious 🤣

@RoyKentsChestHair

Ooh brilliant. I thought it was already on but accidentally ended up watching the celebrity Australian version instead! Quite entertaining but not a patch on the ludicrousness of the regular Apprentice!
I watched that, too! There was only one series, wasn't there? It was so funny seeing Ross Noble on it. I didn't know he was so popular over there.
TheRigatonini · 06/01/2022 19:15

Yes! Ready Grin

llansannan11 · 06/01/2022 19:21

I won't be watching, it is just a parody and most of the candidates I would not wish as work colleagues.

Largethighsbadeyes · 06/01/2022 19:25

Anyone know where you can watch previous seasons? Love this show!

AlexaShutUp · 06/01/2022 19:32

Might be on iplayer, @Largethighsbadeyes?

HollowTalk · 06/01/2022 19:35

Some old series are on YouTube.
