It's set in Barking, Essex so big grey beautiful houses won't be present ( I wouldn't imagine anyway )
It is a true story , sadly.
Those poor men were really let down by the police :(

We do , normally like a flash house , but I'm sure this drama won't have any of that :(
Hopefully it'll show how much the police messed up the investigations.
It really is a miscarriage of justice.

On a seperate note, it'll be interesting to see how Stephen Merchant takes on a 'serious role', presumably he won't have his Bristolian accent in this?

I am not watching this. I can’t take any more “dramas” about young people in the prime of their lives being horribly killed while the authorities look the other way

It’s depressing and my mental health can’t tolerate any more of it.

It's good so far but Stephen Merchant's failure to suppress his Bristol accent is a bit distracting. I looked Stephen Port up to see where he was from, and it was Southend-on-Sea, so definitely should sound more Essex.

The way the police are speaking to Anthony's family and friends is bloody awful. No empathy or compassion at all.
