I was the youngest of 6 kids which is nothing at all compared to 22 obviously, but even in our family my parents really struggled to give each of us the attention we needed. They both worked and money was tight, the stress and exhaustion made my mum short tempered. We didn’t feel we could go to our parents with problems, and as siblings we didn’t support each other much either, we were all struggling. The older ones resented having to care for the younger ones. As I say that was just 6 kids!

This is such a honest post, thank you for sharing. It must have been difficult feeling like you couldn't ask your own parents for help and support.

I've just seen in the news that the Radfords have got a new mini Dachshund puppy. I can't imagine introducing a tiny puppy into such a chaotic house.

I'm sure their other dogs are all bitches and didn't they breed one of them this year so they are not all neutered. Surely adding a male dog into a house with 4 female dogs is a recipe for disaster!

I really hope I'm wrong but it seems like they have gone from having babies every 5 minutes to now starting their own puppy farm.

Goodness me I had no idea they already had 4 other dog. I was concerned about such a tiny puppy in a chaotic house, but it seems like this is just the tip of the iceberg.

The programme was so fake, I always wonder how much the TV producers pay, would they really be going to Lapland if there weren't cameras on them? And it obviously wasn't filmed at Christmas, why would they use their own money to have a fake Christmas so it was all paid for and orchestrated by the TV company.

I did wonder as one of the kids was autistic whether there would likely be other kids with autism in the house as well. But I suppose with so many of them you’d maybe never know. It’s a real shame that given their fame they could’ve talked more about the lad and him being autistic and adjustments etc. It all seems perfect and very fake. No tantrums or real life just staged and scripted perfection.

Also Tilly was in a wheelchair last year - had operations etc. they have breezed right through this.

Disclaimer - I'm an OT and would love to have seen how she coped. How did she get up stairs? What about personal care?

Yes assume 22 is final number - she is 40 ish isn’t she

Tho I had my dd at almost 44 tho ivf

I thought she was 45, but Google says she’s 46. She looks younger. She was incredibly lucky to have 4 (?) babies in her 40s.

I watched a YouTube video of her giving a house tour… all those bunk beds

I wouldn't be surprised if they went down the fertility treatment route, that would make a good series. "22 Kids + IVF". Both the Duggars and the Bates went to a fertility specialist to help them "catch a baby" when they were in their mid 40s and didn't conceive.
Sue looks amazing for having so many children, but these last few years she has changed so much. Her face seems to have hollowed and her hair is thinning badly, I think she must be peri menopausal.

I'm autistic myself I can usually tell by looks and voice (no offence this is just at a guess) id say Max Oscar and Casper

Nope you didn't misshear. I know they have 22 kids, but you'd think they'd remember when the first was born.

I know we aren’t allowed to ask for cash on MN but are we allowed to start a fund to enable their neighbours to find a new house somewhere far far away? I feel for them

I was surprised that neither Noel nor his daughter wore hair nets while making the pies. Surely that's just basic hygiene? Hairs escape so easily 🤢
