Am confused why did they say they started their family in 1994?

Wanlight22 · 06/01/2022 01:03

@PinkWaferBiscuit
Same . I find the acceptance of that couple really concerning. And feel for their children.

Belledan1 · 06/01/2022 05:33

Really trivial but surprised when cooking that breakfast they dont buy bacon in bulk etc instead of little packs etc. Seem to have all branded stuff. Supposes its easier just to one big on line shop.

PinkWaferBiscuit · 06/01/2022 06:50

Just seen the new series is 10 bloody episodes long. Poor kids, I wonder how long they had film crews following them round and invading the already limited space within the house over the past year.

I shall not be watching but no doubt snippets of it will appear on social media and in the 'news'. Those poor kids are the breadwinners in that house and its ridiculous their parents are still flogging their little cash cows to fund their lavish lifestyle.

@Leaveitonthefloordrobe

I was surprised that neither Noel nor his daughter wore hair nets while making the pies. Surely that's just basic hygiene? Hairs escape so easily 🤢
It doesn't look like hygiene is a priority. When they were packing, all those pies were just at room temperature.

If they're happy to ignore basic hygiene practices on camera, then you have to wonder what happens when the cameras aren't there. 🤮
RevolvingPivot · 06/01/2022 08:53

I noticed on the door they have a 5 star hygiene rating.

RevolvingPivot · 06/01/2022 08:56

I wonder why he walks the dogs separately.

RevolvingPivot · 06/01/2022 08:58

Who was the baby Millie was holding? It can't be hers she's older.

Oh now it says 4

They also wear branded clothing ... I just think it's sponsorship & product placement.

I don't believe for one minute that the manky pie shop is making that much money. It just looked very tired and outdated. If I was advertising my business on national TV I would at least give everything a good scrub and a lick of paint.

RevolvingPivot · 06/01/2022 09:17

Also why do they stamp 5,000 pies a week by hand?

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/01/2022 09:59

@seekinglondonlife

I wouldn't be surprised if they went down the fertility treatment route, that would make a good series. "22 Kids + IVF". Both the Duggars and the Bates went to a fertility specialist to help them "catch a baby" when they were in their mid 40s and didn't conceive. Sue looks amazing for having so many children, but these last few years she has changed so much. Her face seems to have hollowed and her hair is thinning badly, I think she must be peri menopausal.
This may be the next plan

Tho think was told not to have any more

I don't think the dogs are usually walked at all, that one was clearly a prop for the conversation between the two dads. Making it look as if they were doing something other than reciting lines for the camera.
Blurp · 06/01/2022 13:41

I think she was told not to have any more about 5 kids ago, so she's hardly likely to take any notice now. It would be very selfish of her to get pregnant again when it's so risky.

I agree the bakery looked disgustingly dirty; surely you'd give it a good clean before showing it on tv?! And no hairnets or gloves, both Noel and Chloe had dirty clothes on, and Chloe walked in, scratched her face and then seemed to get straight to work!

Exhausteddog · 06/01/2022 15:44

I've watched a few of their programmes and am always really surprised about this kind of thing. Especially as they are in the catering business so would have contacts to bulk buy but then I guess if they only have a normal size kitchen and fridge then storing in bulk would be a problem. They must need to go shopping every day!!

Sunsetsupernova · 06/01/2022 15:53

I couldn’t believe that the fry up cost them £50!! Their weekly food bill must be obscene.

I have to agree with the pie shop comments. I’d have been concerned about the temperature they were kept at if I was receiving those that were all just laid out on the counter. It looked like they needed more staff rather than bigger premises.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/01/2022 16:17

Yes sure they said they shop daily

Quality of parenting, prospects their kids will have and how young she was when pregnant with their first aside Confused, their carbon footprint is horrific. And so many YouTube comments gushing about what an inspiration they are. Christ on a bike.

Wanlight22 · 06/01/2022 19:54

Has anyone here ever ate one of those pies?

seekinglondonlife · 06/01/2022 19:58

I definitely wouldn't want to after watching that, the filling looked like a bucket of slop. They aren't cheap either.

Hearwego · 06/01/2022 19:58

I’ve heard people saying how the parents don’t claim benefits, but surely a family of this size still cost the tax payers lots of money? The cost to the NHS, child benefit , school places.
Also the impact on the environment. It’s not normal to have 22 children will probably have many children themselves. The average dose of a family is 4 or 5. This family is 24. The amount of waste production must be massive.
The parents are addicted to having babies. That doesn’t make them great parents.

The cost of all the births alone, plus the schooling (basically a full class of kids) must be enormous. Never mind general GP care, opticians, dentists etc.
