TBF that leaves a very narrow window of opportunity to hold a baby shower 😂

True enough 😂

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/07/2022 10:37

They are now back in Florida for the second time this year. Wonder if it will be featured in their new TV series.

TheDuchessOfMN · 27/08/2022 08:48

I don’t think you’re allowed to film at Disney for tv, but of course they can film outside of that.

I remember watching the show a few years ago and finding them somewhat relatable - (aside from the fact that there were so many of them) budget meals, back to school, maybe a camping holiday to France, etc.

Now it’s just bragging and compulsive OTT spending. Completely unrealistic. They’ve gone from being addicted to pregnancy, to becoming addicted to spending money. I guess they both have the same end result… the attention it brings them.

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/08/2022 08:51

Guessing more spending equals more attention equals more freebies

OP posts:
KittensTeaAndCake · 27/08/2022 10:35

It's quite unreal the amount of money they are spending now. Florida for 26 of them, only a few months after they went before!! That magic pie shop really is special isn't it?!

By the looks of it the kids will be missing the first days back at school too (with Archie just starting reception too). Still they never did care too much for education did they? 🙄

vroom321 · 27/08/2022 11:06

I wonder if they will be fined? We took our 2 DC out of school for the first time this year. DH is military and is away until November so it's the only time we had. £240 fine. I wish school had told us they were refusing the request but they didn't even reply. We only went away for 4 days to the coast so weren't doing it to save loads of money when going abroad.

KittensTeaAndCake · 27/08/2022 12:39

That's so unfair vroom321.
I bet they don't get fined. God imagine how much it would be with all those kids 😆

thats harsh

though was allowed /not fined 5 days /10 sessions but after that fined

so yours did 60pc per parent

OP posts:
vroom321 · 27/08/2022 22:02

Sorry 4 nights 5 days.
Me and dh each had 2 letters one for each kid!!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/08/2022 22:24

Then that’s normal sadly. £60per child per parent

OP posts:
GettingOrganisedNow · 27/08/2022 22:34

I imagine that any fine would be small change in comparison to what the Radfords have spent on Disney. They don't seem bothered about education, so they probably just consider the fine to be an additional cost of the holiday.

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/08/2022 23:39

But have they spent their money on Disney

or is it paid for - flights accommodation entrance etx

OP posts:
BedknobsNoBroomsticks · 28/08/2022 04:19

£60pp per parent is a huge amount. Is that for primary and secondary age children? The radfords' fine would be huge.

This holiday could quite easily run to around £100,000 if you include everything from flights, hotel for night before, villa, transport, food, park tickets, experienced such as droid making which is almost $100 per person, and any tat they buy when at the parks.

TV and you tube must pay well.

LidlCinnamonBun · 28/08/2022 07:05

If they paid for it and it wasn’t a gift the money would have been better spend on a house deposit or uni fees. Especially in this uncertain times.

They don't seem to think like that. The kids are all jammed into tiny rooms in the house; they could easily buy a second house and let the older ones live there, or give them deposits for their own places, but they seem to prefer them all under one roof. I guess it's more marketable to have loads of people in one house. Brings in more money to blow on tat.

Believeinyou · 28/08/2022 08:25

Can anyone explain how they can afford all of this? Are the holidays all paid for by channel 5 or do they pay for them through the social influencing? Does it really pay that well??? twice to florida in a year, a motorhome, massive 27k hot tub.....

sue is also always always shopping

I know the pie shop isn't paying for this kind of lifestyle and it's since they became better known the lifestyle has got more and more extravagant

6 expensive designer dogs

none of the older adult children seem to have properly flown the nest away from either the home or the pie shop with the exception of the eldest who always appears to be slightly estranged from the chaos. But what are the older lads actually doing - what careers/ aspirations do they have? From their content they seem to have very part time 'work' in the pie shop and then gaming in their 'teenage' bedrooms. These are young men who don't seem to have any aspiration. The girls seems to be having children at a younger and younger age - Id be incredibly worried about Millie if she were my daughter. Don't have to be a genius to work out she has some emotional issues and is looking for love and attention

I actually feel sorry for them - the impact is starting to show on the older ones so I think the ones 'lost' in the middle will have some serious issues to deal with

GettingOrganisedNow · 28/08/2022 08:46

@Believeinyou it's probably a combination of things:

> Magic pie shop earnings (of course)
> Child benefit etc - a couple of the kids have Autism, I think, so they might get DLA too
> YouTube etc earnings
> Not paying a lot of tax - they'll be able to write off certain things as "business expenses" if they use them in vlogs. For instance, if they have 100k income, rather than paying the appropriate tax on that, they spend 90k on a camper van and then talk about it in a vlog. As I understand it, that 90k can then be written off as a "business expense", giving them a net income of 10k. So basically as long as they keep spending their income on items which they then use in vlogs, their tax bill will be negligible.
> Free stuff - they're supposed to state in vlogs if they've been given the thing they're showing off, although I'm not sure they always do
> TV income
> Stuff the TV show pays for

I agree that the kids seem to have very little ambition or drive, from what I've seen. Nor do they come across as particularly happy or satisfied, sadly.

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/08/2022 09:12

Think they are building their own house

wasn’t there an episode where we see a huge open field and dad said he wanted jr build a new place with more /bigger bedrooms as old peoples home is too small for them now

wonder who lives next door to them in the attached 10 bed house

OP posts:
Fizbosshoes · 28/08/2022 09:18

I'm pretty sure the pie shop income on its own would barely cover day- to - day basic expenses.
Food
Pet food/insurance
Mortgage
Council tax
Utilities
Clothes and uniforms
Iphones/tablets and contracts/sim deals

I think all the extras are probably funded by TV shows/sponsors/YouTube etc.
I don't think they can put everything through as an expense though.

Kind of wonder why, though... surely the older ones will all move out fairly soon. By the time the house is built they'll probably be down to about 10 kids at home, which would fit fine in the current house. It would make more sense to use the money to buy a couple of houses for the older ones, and give them a bit of independence.

KittensTeaAndCake · 28/08/2022 10:25

Exactly. I couldn't enjoy a Disney holiday/hot tub swimming pool/motorhome/insert ridiculously expensive thing here, knowing my DC are having babies without somewhere secure to live. Poor Chloe has just had her baby and is living with her in-laws (can you imagine? 😱) Absolutely fine if you can't afford your own place but we know they can. Why haven't they given the older ones a deposit for a house/flat? They could probably have bloody well bought a house outright with all the money they waste.

I agree about the lack of ambition especially for the boys. I mean the girls see having babies as a career choice but what of the boys? Will they all be 30/40 and still playing on computer games hidden in their rooms?

Who do we think will be pregnant next? Katie? Aimee? Or Millie again? Or maybe even Sue? Place your bets here...

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/08/2022 10:26

Amazed Chloe doesn’t live with her parents tbh

I don’t disagree with some of your points but since Sue and Noel are not very academic or ambitious people, why would their kids be? Children usually grow up to have the same values as their parents, however much money they have.
